The house worked out great for a large group especially for meals. The kitc;hen was extremely well stocked. The porch looking out on the lake was awesome for time to sit in the quiet at the end of the day with the family

Great Family Vacation Spot

Father-Son Golf Outing

Beautiful setting right on Green Lake and located near Lawsonia Golf Course. Serene atmosphere and fire pit near the lake was perfect. Ideal place for family gatherings.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The porch and dock were perfect. Nice spacious fully stocked kitchen. Large basement for the kids to hang out. Very clean as well. We hope to book again! Thank you!

Great time!

The house is great! We spent most of our time on the porch- mornings with coffee and evenings with fireflies. Great family get away. Kids loved the ping pong table, highly recommended!

Fantastic…again

We had another great trip to White Oaks! Our trip was earlier than we normally go, but the house was ready, which was good because there was more rain than we typically have when there! The property manager had excellent communication when needed! The dock was a favorite spot for the teens/young adults, while the giant porch kept all of us content! Highly recommend!!

The house itself is better than the photos suggest, and the location is great. We had a wonderful time overall, especially relaxing on the back deck and using the dock (though the dock itself wasn't very clean).A few things brought the experience down, though:Rules and disclosures came too late. We were sent a ten-page list of house rules well after we had already booked, at a point where cancelling was no longer really an option. This should be shared before booking, not after.The cleaning fee didn't match the checkout expectations. We paid a 300 cleaning fee upfront as part of the booking, but the checkout instructions still required us to do a full list of chores ourselves, with additional fees on top if anything was missed (for example, a 100 charge for leaving a single dish undone). It felt like we were paying twice for cleaning.No boat docking allowed, despite that being the draw. We were not permitted to dock our boats at the pier, which was never mentioned in the listing. This was actually one of the main reasons we booked the property in the first place, so it was a significant disappointment.Overall, the house and location have real potential, but clearer upfront communication about rules, fees, and dock usage would have made a big difference in our experience.

Henry, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the house. Our boat lift is available for all renters to use, as is indicated on our Vrbo listing and the house information document. The only thing we don’t allow is tying a boat to the pier for a long period of time/overnight, as both the boat and pier can be damaged, which has happened in the past. The minor straightening up that we request be completed prior to check out (stripping linens off beds, running the dishwasher and putting clean dishes away) allows our cleaners to focus on doing a thorough cleaning job prior to the next guest’s arrival. No where do we say renters would need to pay $100 for dirty dishes. We have compared our cleaning practices with other owners of comparable properties and we ask nothing out of the ordinary. We are always more than happy to address any questions or concerns from our renters when they reach out to us. Jennifer

Great Family Vacation

The property was great- beautiful wraparound screened in porch with lots of sofas and chairs and fantastic view of lake. We toasted marshmallows around fire pit, were able to grill on gas grill, there is a huge kitchen, lots of games for teens like ping pong and a dining table that easily fit the 20 of us for games every night. The boys fished every day on the pier. Great venue for family gatherings.

White Oaks 2023 4th

Beautiful home...no air-conditioning...ugh...was 83, 85 and 87 in the house during the day. North side of lake gets a lot of seaweed and floating debris when all the boats stir things up. totally enjoyed the home itself...lots of character.

Simply amazing

Our stay at White Oaks was nothing short of amazing! The house has everything we could want or need! My new happy place on earth is the giant screened porch overlooking beautiful Green Lake! Check in was simple and there was great communication with the property manager! There was a large group of adults and teenagers staying in the house and it could not have been more perfect, with space for everyone to spread out. The teens could stay up in the kitchen and basement without keeping the rest of the guests awake. The dock is another awesome place, with great fishing, swimming, and kayaking! White Oaks is a 10/10 and I hope to be able to book again next year!

Absolutely beautiful!

We rented this house to celebrate or 50th Wedding Anniversary! We are a family of 11 and we all just loved it! With 4 spacious bedrooms,a 3 bunk bedroom,3 1/2 baths,we all had room to enjoy. There are ceiling fans in every room and cool lake breezes at night. The kitchen, dining, and living areas are spacious and beautiful in decor. But the screened in porch is to die for!!! Tons of glider sofas,wicker rockers, chairs, and relaxy chairs and it is just charming. We will never forget our beautiful candlelight Anniversary dinner on the porch...all decorated and prepared by our children and grandchildren! It was perfect! We also loved the water,dock and yard. We had lots of fun in the water pontooning and floating, and we had great campfires at night. We loved this house! We have booked it for our 51st Anniversary!!!!

Family Vacation

What an amazing week my family and I spent on the lake. We spent most of our time in the water or on the wonderful wrap around porch. It is huge! I can't express enough how lovely it was to all be able to enjoy the cooler evenings on the porch with the entire family. The house was impeccably clean, the grounds are very well kept. The kitchen is fully stocked, better and any other place we have stayed. Plenty of space to spread out and read or play games. We had ping pong and foosball tournaments which the kids and adults enjoyed on the one rainy day and several evenings. And the best thing was while there are 2 TV's they were never turned on the entire week. The memories made will last a life time. We plan to come back for sure! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Phillip!

This home was superlative in almost every way. Easily the most meticulously cared for home we’ve ever stayed in, with attention to every detail. There was absolutely everything we needed, and nothing that we didn’t! It was obvious that this home has been a labor of love for many years. Great layout, especially the kitchen. Big, beautiful windows, nice appliances, and the most wonderful, spacious screened in porch! Great communication from start to finish with the owners. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Family Fun

Great house!! Large and breezy, even in late July-early August. We had 16 family members ranging in age from 4 to 68. Something fun to do for everyone! The large wraparound porch was awesome and we spent many hours there! Definitely a 5 star vacation!

Veranda Home on nice lot

The property has a large screened porch with a view of the lake, which is where we spent most of our time, from morning coffee to dinner outside. The view of the lake is great, with fewer trees at the lake side than other places. Location is convenient to boat rental place, and is middle of the lake, so convenient to either end.

Great house and awesome location

We so enjoyed this house, and it had enough beds, bathrooms, and sleeping places for our group of 16. The location right on the lake with its rolling backyard and own boat lift, and walking distance to town were awesome. I think our favorite part of the house was the wraparound screened back porch, where we spent hours reading, napping, and eating, not to mention enjoying the view of the lake from there. There is a lot of Green Lake to love!

Great house

We stayed in the house in the middle of August and did not need air conditioning. It gets cool and breezy at night. We were a two family group with many teenagers and this house was perfect for us. We never felt crowded and we had a great time. The porch needs to be hosed off but other than that the place was perfect and we would love to stay again.
