Hotel Style Lodge Room w/Kitchenette

Three Rivers Resort is ideally situated in the heart of Almont, CO, just 20 minutes south of Crested Butte and 10 minutes north of Gunnison.
**This is the only "handicap accessible" room. It offers more space to move around as well as a shower and bathroom to accommodate wheelchairs.** If you do not require handicap accessibility, please consider booking a different unit with us.
Our lodge rooms offer hotel-style accommodations plus a kitchenette (no stove/oven) in every unit. These are the only units at the resort that offer air conditioning in the summer. They are located above the main store/office and are accessible from an interior stairwell or an exterior ramp. Like all of our lodging, we do not offer daily housekeeping. We supply basics like linens, soap and kitchenware. Guests supply toiletries and any food. Pets are not allowed in these rooms. The rooms are best suited for 2 people since there is only one bed.
• Queen size bed plus a sofa (not a hide-a-bed). If an extra bed is needed, please bring an air mattress or sleeping bag.
• Bathroom has a step-in shower in handrails
• Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap
• Not included: Anything edible (coffee and filters available though), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries
• Parking in the main resort parking lot for one vehicle. Inquire about additional parking if needed.
All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs are not allowed in these rooms. Nightly rate is based on 2 people. Maximum occupancy is 4 (but no more than 2 is recommended). Extra person fees may apply if more than 2 people. Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time. For exact rates, enter your trip dates in the availability search.

Little disappointed

Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to the area for a while and have been really curious to try it for the first time last weekend. Myself and my nephew. I made a reservation, requesting two beds since we are both male adults. Unfortunately, we checked in close to closing time and very quickly rushed to the restaurant to make sure we could eat after long day of hiking. Meal was great, but when we got to the room, we realized we only have one bed. I ended up sleeping on the couch which i definitely did not enjoy or was willing to pay. Wrong person on the phone? Misunderstanding? Not sure. May not return.

Conveniently located between Gunnison and Created Butte.The lodge is very clean, nice amenities but the air conditioning doesn't work well, it is noisy and because the rooms are above the shop and next to the restaurant, there is noise and music at night and people coming and going in the early morning. Management doesn't listen, and when I voiced my concerns they just said, well, we're open at 7am and took down a note about the air conditioner. I told them about someone doing construction at 630am on the outside of the building, and they said, oh no, that couldn't have been that early...I mentioned someone stacking wood for the smoker at 6am the next day, and again, they said it couldn't have been someone that early. What every happened to customer service?! And that was the owner's son.Maybe it was an off day but I should have spoken to someone who listens, like maybe the dad or mom.We've stayed here a couple times before and never had a problem, but not in the lodge.We chose the lodge because it had air conditioning and my wife is pregnant. We're not staying in the lodge again, and we definitely wouldn't recommend it, even if it's conveniently located and very clean.We're honestly wondering if it's worth the money or coming back here.Last year we stayed in one of the cabins by the river, in the winter, and with the snow falling, it was incredible! The beauty of the river and the peaceful snow falling made it so nice to stay here, that's why we came back.It's worth the extra money to stay on the property somewhere more secluded, and the cabin had a private hot tub, which was magical in the winter! It does get really cold by the water, but there's a fireplace in every cabin, which keeps it nice and toasty. We would stay here again if management listened, and it wasn't so busy in the summer.
