Beautiful view and friendly service, but needs maintenance

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our party of four adults ( two couples) enjoyed our stay. The view of the ocean and smaller island are amazing. The pool and hot in the common area were well maintained and a nice place to unwind at the end of the day. We eat out and sat out on the patio most of our time when we started and ended our days. The kitchen was equipment nicely and was a good way to have some meals instead of eating out every meal. The dining and living rooms were good size but seldom used. The primary on-suite was a very nice space but the mattress my need replacing. The bath was large, and the shower is enormous. The second bedroom is small and lacked storage and privacy. The sliding louvered doors blocked the view, but not the sound. We also had issues with the hall bath drained slowly, and the shower faucet was installed backwards. Some of the closet doors would not close properly. The ceiling fans and light fixtures worked by remotes, but they need to be reprogramed to separate operation form room to room. These issues were brought to the attention of the management company and the assured us that they would be addressed. Susan with the management company was also very helpful in resolving an issue with our late check out. Thank you for a great place to call home while we were visiting paradise.

Beautiful property, great customer service

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience and hope others will too. Our original rental unit became unavailable at check-in due to an issue with the AC. The property manager immediately had an alternative rental for us to check into. While it was further away from the beach, the unit itself was great! Ocean view, the most comfortable beds & bedding we’ve ever had outside of our own home, And fully stocked with everything we could need.

In fact it had more beach stuff than it was visible on the photos. The AC are wall units, and worked mostly well (in one of the rooms, the AC unit seemed to not cool down very much). Beds more on the soft side. The property management was very professional. Overall I would likely stay again.

Location is Beautiful

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property location and view was wonderful The pool was nice and landscaping top notch. The unit itself was adequate but overall dated. We would prefer to have direct beach access but the 10 minute walk wasn't too bad. While there was salt and pepper in the kitchen, there was no other cooking staples except a couple of tablespoons of olive oil and a dab of balsamic. Windex or some other all purpose cleaner would have been helpful as would a dustpan and brush to clean up sand.

Beautiful Property

My BFF travel to Maui yearly and this has definitely been the best location for our needs. The main suite is set up lovely and comfortably, however the other bedroom needs some TLC to accommodate two adults or two couples. There was no luggage rack but a huge table I had to pull out of the closet and set up. In addition there was no dresser to unpack and get comfortable. I think one last concern was the strong scent of detergent on sheets and towels was overwhelming. The shower drain in the 2nd bathroom was clogged causing the shower to hold water. This was handled quickly by the PM but still pretty yucky.

Lovely unit, property, and location!

Just like the photos! The balcony was lovely for morning coffee and watching the sunset. We even saw some whales splashing in the ocean. Beautiful sunsets at the unit or the pool with the surround trees and landscape. Close to restaurants and great beaches. Honestly, just a great location. Glad we chose to stay on this side of the island. We would stay on this property again, just in a different unit with firmer beds.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Starting with booking all the way to checkout, the communication was easy and straightforward. We arrived close to midnight but had no issues finding or getting inside the condo. The condo was very clean, equipped with all we needed. Quality furnishings and beautiful view. All furnishings were of great quality and we liked that. We can’t wait to go back again.

Luxurious rental!

Check-in, communication, views, and quality of the unit was impeccable. Management was very responsive to our questions, and sent someone right away to fix a humming a/c. The view was likely the best in the community. Parking was right in front of the unit, location was convenient to everything in the area. The layout and design of the unit was thoughtful and the art in the unit was unique and lovely. Only thing I’d suggest is to have coffee available for the type of coffeemaker in the unit, and to communicate when the pool will be maintained (it might be very important to renters who will be counting on the use of the pool). We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would love to do so again when in the area!

Amazing experience at the Palms

6 out of 5 stars - Romvari rentals who handles management for this unit at the Palms was outstanding. We had some questions upon arrival around 11pm and they answered in less than a minute. Any questions or concerns were addressed promptly, which was an understatement. They made the experience amazing as the location is great, unit is quiet and well equipped and it has some of the most amazing views around. The grounds and unit is very well maintained. For a young family we couldn’t ask for a better location. There is a great pool area (no toddler shallow end so bring floaties). Other folks in the complex were also kind, the massive balcony is a huge plus. Would definitely stay here again when we come back. Thanks so much!

Wonderful stay in renovated condo at Wailea!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family stayed at the condo for 4 nights and had an amazing time! The condo was spacious and very relaxing..... the home was recently renovated and was spotless... it has terrific views of the ocean and sunsets which were just perfect! We're a family of 4 and the place was a perfect size for the whole family and having a washer/dryer in the unit was an added bonus. Also, we would just hang and enjoy the spacious and amazing balcony/lanai. Being upstairs gave us a better view and a perfect breeze to cool off after swimming at the nearby beach (10 min walk). Everything you could want in a Maui vacation home.... we definitely will be back!

Thank your for the 5 star experience!

We truly enjoyed staying at your property! The view and the location was way beyond expectation. Communication between us and the people managing the property was quick and very helpful. I would definitely stay at this location again. The additional beach gear was awesome. We used it every day! We also liked how close it was to the pool! If there was something they could add to the property is a couch that had a hideaway bed.

Terrific Property in a Prime Location

The unit had all of the amenities that we needed, including nice items for the beach such as good backpack chairs and coolers. Romvari was also terrific in answering questions that we had when the occasion arose. Sitting on the lanai and looking out at the ocean was a real treat. I'd recommend both this unit and any unit from Romvari if asked.

Expected a little better from a high end property

I want to leave a balanced review. There were good and not so great things. The view and location is very good. For a high end property we had however expected a little bettter. The management company was very good and responsive to the issues we ran into. The unit has a nice updated interior. With all hard surfaces however you could hear every noise from the kitchen, patio or bath in every part of the unit. The guest bathroom fan was also extremely loud. Outside of the managements control there was also construction on the unit below every day including the weekend. We also had numerous maintenance issues. One with the AC not working and leaking water that took 3 days to resolve. The living room and dinning room floor was dirty on arrival but was likely due to the carpet having to be removed due to the AC water leak. The management company did respond quickly for the clean up. The door lock also was a problem. The code did not work and had to text the management team to get a new code every time we entered for the 1st 3 days then the lock code stopped working altogether. We had to use a key and the method for unlocking with a key was not typical and very quirky. The management company was gracious and provided a gift certificate for the inconvenience that was worth just above 1/3 of 1 nights stay.

Nice Stay

We had a really nice stay at this unit, views were so wonderful and perfect for watching the sunset on the balcony each night. Unit was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Property manager was easy to communicate with and was very helpful, we would definitely book here again.

Perfect spot in paradise

Clean and spacious with the most amazing view. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooks. Bathrooms, kitchen and furniture have been tastefully updated. Communication with the host was responsive and polite. The location is a a 15-20 minute walk away from beaches and restaurants. The condo complex is quiet and well maintained. Note: the unit is on the 2nd floor with about a dozen stairs. Would not hesitate to stay again!
