On the ground floor, Bedroom 1 features a Queen bed with a bathroom located just off the room, offering privacy and convenience.

The upper level contains the remaining sleeping quarters. Bedroom 2, the Master Suite, includes a King bed with an attached private bathroom featuring a giant soaking tub and separate shower, creating a relaxing retreat.

Bedroom 3 is furnished with two twin beds, perfect for friends, children, or family members who prefer separate beds.

Bedroom 4 includes a King bed and is conveniently located across from the guest bathroom.

Bedroom 5 provides a Queen bed, also positioned across from the guest bathroom, and includes an additional Full bed in an adjoining room. This full-bed area is separated by a door for added privacy, though guests must enter through the Queen room to access it.

From various points in the house, especially the upper bedrooms, you`ll enjoy stunning views of the private lake (may be browned depending on seasons), creating a serene backdrop to your stay. The developing pool and hot tub area, once completed, will offer an elevated panorama of the enchanting landscape.

This property, with its expansive natural land, private lake and walking trails, and comfortable accommodations, is ideal for those looking for a connection with nature without foregoing the comforts of a well-appointed home.

We are near Honey Run Covered Bridge and some great Hiking Trails
There is wildlife such as coyotes squirrels, bats, raccoons, opossums, skunks, snakes, deer, coyotes, and even an occasional mountain lion or bear (we have not seen sightings of these in years)

The Great thing about this home is although it gives a secluded nature feel, it is only 10 minutes from the heart of Chico City, restaurants grocery stores Meriam park etc.

The pool and hot tub are both functional and ready to use, Our pools are serviced every Monday and Friday after 4 PM.

For Hot Tub usage, we recommend resetting the breaker of the hot tub 4-6 before usage and setting temperature to 104. The hot tub breaker is on the side of the house closest to the hot tub, on the wall next to the garden hose. Follow these steps to make sure that the water does not cool down. We take great care in maintaining our grounds, and we`re proud to have a dedicated gardener. The gardener tends to the garden every Monday. Thank you for understanding and appreciating our green spaces!

**Pets are welcome! A $100 per pet fee applies to your stay. Please let us know if you`re bringing any furry friends!

Please note, all guests are required to sign a rental agreement prior to check-in. For non-Airbnb bookings, a credit card hold is required as a deposit, which will be automatically released after your stay, provided no damages occur.

Early check-ins before 4 PM require host approval. A confirmed booking does not guarantee early access — please message us to request and check availability.

Your reservation fee card statement will not show VRBO but angiesstays a.k.a. us. The only fee that is charged by VRBO is the VRBO service fee. The reservation fee is charged directly by us.

Locals booking our properties will receive a phone call prior to check-in for additional verification on their reservation. We do not accept Google Voice or Service Phone Numbers and we are authorized to cancel the booking if confirmed. For cancellations, refund amount will only be 96%, there will be a cancellation fee of 4% of the total reservation amount.
1. Please note: Cryptocurrency mining is strictly prohibited in the property. Any violation will result in additional charges for excessive utility usage.
2. As a reminder, we kindly ask that all furniture and items be returned to their original positions before checkout, just as you found them at arrival. Please be aware that failing to return items to their proper place may result in an additional fee for the extra time and labor needed to reset the space. Thank you for your cooperation!
