Peaceful retreat! Home was very beautifully decorated. Furniture was comfortable. The entire home was clean and relaxing. Hot tub was fantastic and easily accessible. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

The cabin is great. The lake is pretty small, kayaked around it in about an hr.Great place to relax and recharge. The surrounding communities had lots to explore and good food and drinks.

The cabin was very clean. The bathrooms were great, the kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was clean and warm enough.

We had a great time staying in this lake house. Well stocked kitchen including spices, coffee, aluminum foil.... Everything was clean and comfy. Hot tub was nice and lake view sunset was beautiful

The hostess was so awesome. She was quick to respond to our questions. The lake house was simply charming and adorable. So clean and perfect for our stay. The lovely deck overlooking the lake made our coffee on the deck so peaceful. We already are rebooking for next year. Definitely a 110 % experience!

A wonderful place for a little weekend getaway! Very cozy the hot tub was excellent and the kayaks on the lake were so much fun! I highly recommend this location!

Great Lakefront Location

The house was exactly as described; the lake was even better! We enjoyed fishing and made use of the kayaks. The house was also a great base to explore Paducah, Cave in Rock, and Garden of the Gods. The owner was responsive and friendly. There was plenty of room for our family of four and the fire pit, hot tub, and smart tv were all great touches!

Much needed

I had recently lost my mom. It was a much-needed getaway. This was a restful and relaxing weekend. The only issue was that it was too short. I will be back soon, hopefully.

First and foremost... The host is absolutely wonderful! Contacted me before we drove down, to make sure we had everything we needed, and made sure if we needed anything she was available. The house was amazing! The layout was humongous kitchen, with a dining room attachment area, 2 huge bedrooms, two full baths and beautiful deck that overlook the lake, and kayaks you can use if you wanted to, in the lake.The area that we were at does not have good cell phone reception, the road we drove in on is white rocks, windy roads with some hills, and you need to make sure you stay in the center of the road, because some of the sides are corroded with where from nature. This is not the fault of the owner or the host of this house, this is a lake house that is out and away from all civilization... But, it is absolutely stunning location, beautiful house, with amenities of relaxation that not many places have. It has a big Jacuzzi which was absolutely wonderful after a long day of driving, and yes we used it because I was tired of after driving 10 and a half hours. The host once again, was a wonderful person to talk to through text messaging with replies coming back as quickly as I sent them. We love this place, and I just like to give warning to the road to fellow travelers, be prepared... other than that this place was heaven.

Perfect place to sit back and relax

The house was clean and just as advertised. The wifi is competent but should not be needed. Take a couple of friends instead and reconnect. This is a place to throw a line in the water, sit outside, read a book, play some games, view the stars in the sky at night, breath, and overall relax. If you need a little help relaxing, there is a hot tub with a view of the night sky. This is a place that you throw something on the grill or in the oven, no gourmet cooking, just basics.

fishing in the Ohio river. with my two brothers

We enjoyed the time we spent in the cabin. The area was quiet and peaceful but we were disappointed in that we could not fish in the lake. The growth of the plants around the perimeter of the lake prevented us from being able to fish from the bank behind the cabin. We are planning on coming up again next year if it is possible. We are getting older and our health may prevent us from coming up again. We will have to wait and see how things work out. The cabin was clean and comfortable and there was a lot of room for us to be able to move around. Over all it was an enjoyable week for the three of us. We had plenty of time to visit our family that are in the area in Brookport and Metropolis. Ronnie
