Cozy Bright 2 BR White Rock ground level basement suite near the beach.

Air conditioned (HEPA filtered) bright ground level suite with private entry, close to beach, restaurants, trails, tennis courts, grocery store, mall, and bus route to Vancouver. Parking space included. Cozy 2 BR suite open plan with full kitchen, living room, dining area, in-suite laundry, 55" HD TV, cable and wi-fi. South facing yard with table and chairs and gazebo.
We are friendly and experienced hosts and can help with restaurants, tourist activities, and hidden gems in the area.
The space
The space is a 2 BR and has an electric fireplace in the living room and central air conditioning. In suite laundry.
We live in a great location with excellent walking trails and are only minutes to the beach and everything one might need on vacation or business stay. The bus to Vancouver stops about 50 feet from our door, providing easy access to the city for those without a vehicle.
Guest access
Ground level suite with private entrance, separate from Main and Upper Floor by solid door. We respect our guest's privacy.
Other things to note
We are about 5-10 minutes drive from the Peace Arch and Pacific Highway border crossings, for those making the journey from the US.
Fantastic trails and park nearby for hiking and biking, tennis and other recreation. No pets please.

Our stay in White Rock was so comfortable and relaxing. We had our own home away from home and were very happy with our accomodation I highly recommend staying here if going to White Rock! Close to everything and our hosts were amazing!

We were there for a quick visit, the space was bigger than I thought, communication with the host was great.

This was definitely a 5 star property. The hosts were very welcoming. The apartment was very bright and clean. We also enjoyed the coziness of the backyard. Would definitely recommend this property.

Mike and Susan were great hosts, they were very attentive to our needs the suit was a well stocked and beautifully decorated I really appreciated that we had laundry facilities. The location was perfect and close to everything we needed we will be keeping there info for future trips to White Rock. I give a five star thank you

Outside space was cluttered, grass was patchy, outside handrail was loose, kitchen was outdated with cupboard doors that didn't close, no knobs on bathroom cupboard, noisy hvac, fridge door missing parts, no coat hooks for jackets, hand soap but no dish soap, lack of parking on street & lack of privacy with hosts living upstairs.

We have a hundred other reviews that don’t agree w your assessment but I hope you find peace Jane. You seem profoundly unhappy and unfriendly. You had five guests over your first night and used the back yard daily. Used our BBQ without asking and left garbage in the suite. We don’t water the grass due to watering restrictions. Blood and other stains in the towels. I tried to overlook these things in our review but there it is. There is both hand soap and dish soap in the suite and if you ran out of either we would have happily supplied more.

My hosts were amazing and let me know about the local attractions and restaurants worth visiting. My stay was amazing, will definitely come back and stay here again. Accommodations were terrific! Highly recommend staying here. The beach is just minutes away and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.

Our 2 week stay was great. The check in process & communication with Mike & Susan, was top notch. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. The washroom/laundry room was ideal. We really appreciated the location of this condo…walking distance to shops, beach, and trails in Ruth Johnson Park.We hope to return next winter!

Beautiful home, lovely hosts, and a beautiful garden! The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very cozy and comfortable.Grocery stores and shopping center are within walking distance and the beach just a short drive away. We felt very much at home!

Michael was an awesome host. He was able to give great recommendations for places to eat and things to do.The place itself is wonderful with all the amenities you need and a suite that you are guaranteed to get some rest in. The suite is super easy to get to from Hwy99, the ferry, or YVR. If you are heading West, there is a nice back way to Hwy1 and you can avoid much of the construction on Hwy1.Overall, a wonderful stay.

Lovely White Rock

Attended a Chorfest with friends. The VRBOwas perfect! A short drive to the ocean, the pier and wonderful restaurants. The suite has wonderful beds and a great couch. Friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely forest walk nearby was a good workout as there were lots of steps.

As mentioned in the add, it is a very nice cozy and bright basement suite, at a walking distance from the beach and the longest pier in Canada. Michael is a welcoming host, he made us feel comfortable and he was considerate of our needs.

Study away from home

The house is a beautiful restored Art Deco home. The architecture is a delight to experience. Hosts are very gracious and attentive. The area offers many enjoyable opportunities.

Thank you Mike for everything. This place is a hidden little Gem. Very quiet, cool, close to everything, host is awesome, and Moby their dog was a lot of play to play with. The description of the place is spot on. Next time I need to come back down to the coast, I'll certainly be staying there.

little getaway

My family (party of 3) loved staying in this little gem of a house while enjoying White Rock, Richmond, and Granville Island. This little home had everything we needed—fully stocked kitchen gadgets, beds were comfy, and beds cable TV for the little one to enjoy. We were very close to a park with a water feature (big plus), close to a grocery store, and less than a 5min drive from the water. Mike was a great host, kept us informed, had some really great suggestions on places to visit and indulge, and offered to let us stay a bit past our check out time. Checking in and out of this home was seamless.
