Pool House with Stunning Views

Great location with incredible views. The pool was fantastic on hot days. The place as a whole is a bit run down, but was very clean, with lots of beds and bathrooms, pool table and hot tub. Could use an umbrella on the deck table as the sun beats down on that sunny side. Otherwise very comfortable with a huge kitchen with everything needed to cook for a crowd. We were missing dish soap for some reason but the care taker rushed over with some immediately. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful view!

This was a great house for a group. Beautiful view and exterior with the deck and pool. Loved being able to have a fire and roast marshmellows! Deer came right up to the house and in the yard. The beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. The living area and games room was great! The only thing we found a bit awkward was that there was no main bathroom. The only bathrooms were inside bedrooms so you always had to go into someone's room to use the bathroom. And there was one room without a bathroom so at night it was very awkward for the person without a bathroom to have to go into someones room while they were sleeping to use the bathroom.

Dumpy country house

The day we were supposed to arrive the owner says that the fireplaces which are in all photos, can all of a sudden can’t be used because of a change of insurance companies. We were looking forward to using one of them. We did have a fire outside. Pool table looked like it was falling apart we did not use. CD player didn’t work kids wanted to watch a short movie. Light pendants far from island were small and filthy. No light on stovetop removed all together. Hard to see in kitchen. Hot tub outside was hot but no jets. Blind above bed in red and white room main floor was filthy. I tried to open it. Bathrooms were ok finishing work not great. View was great. Hair dryer short out cut on cord near handle sparks happened. They claimed they had a cleaning company come in , they need to do more detailed work. There was a rotting car in driveway should be towed. I don’t know what else to say not up to our standards. We will not go back or recommend to anyone else. I think that we deserve some compensation.

Nice getaway

It’s was a nice weekend getaway. The mountain view was absolutely gorgeous. Host was very responsive which was great. Hot tub was nice. Would definitely be back.

Great time

Group of 8 all adults over 18 we had a great time. Using the pool and hottub, when we weren’t at the house we went over to cultus lake. Everything was great and exceeded our expectations.

Weekend stay

The place was perfect for me and my friends to just hang out during the weekend . Plenty of space for everyone . Hot tub was always warm , bbq was a little old but worked great . Kitchen was well equipped with all utensils necessary. Beds were very comfortable and clean . Would recommend to anyone . And would love to come back and take advantage of the pool this time when it’s open for summer . Host was very helpful in any issue or question we had . Thanks Andre

Peaceful Gateway

Perfect location for a getaway with friends or family. Loved having so many single beds and the kitchen had everything we needed! The hot tub and pool were a fun bonus! Andre was great with communication and easy to work with! Highly recommend.

Perfect for a group getaway

Came here with a large group and everyone had a good time. You can enjoy the amazing mountain views while relaxing in the pool or the hot tub. The place was clean as well and you can see some cute deers in the morning. The games room was a nice touch. Andre was really nice and very responsive. Would definitely come back!

Not as Pictured

The location was beautiful, with mountains and very peaceful. However, the property was not at all in the condition as shown in the photos. The pool was full of algae and needed to scrubbed, not just vacuumed. We got it clear after doing it ourselves but it was not swimmable when we arrived. The landscaping was very overgrown, the exterior paint was chipping off the house, and hot had been relocated to the other side of the property away from the pool which was very challenging with young children. The host did not notify us of the condition of the remodeling happening until the week of the stay, which was well beyond the cancellation period. The missing baseboard resulted in mice running through the master bedroom, and in our food boxes. There’s clear locations where the mice are getting in and out of and we saw 3 run throughout our stay and had to clean mouse poop up each morning. The house had plenty of kitchen utensils but the DVD player didn’t work, the “games” listed were missing pieces or broken. It’s clear this has been a rental for a while but the additional amenities were subpar at best. You can read the other review from August 4th from a previous guest to get more perspective. We contacted the host during our stay to let them know if these concerns and they stated the remodels have been going on since the winter, but no where on the listing is this called out. The only notification was the week of our arrival… far too late to make changes to our plans.

Mountain escape

We were falling over ourselves over the view. The place was as advertised. The hot tub and pool made for a really fun weekend. It had some clear wear and tear and wasn’t perfect, but we didn’t mind much (pool table was a very small version with no cue chalk; renos ongoing throughout the house which the host warned us about; one of two fridges didn’t work even when plugged in). Andre was an excellent host - responsive and proactive, and was kind enough to allow us some flexibility for our check-out time. We would definitely come back, or try her other property.

Lots of Potential, but it needs a lot of work! - Not worth the price

Andre was really nice, but sadly this house is in very poor condition with improvements in progress. We were warned the night before we arrived that they had done flooring work but it wasn’t completed. Andre just said the only issue was baseboards not being re-installed. Sadly that was not the case. There is a spot where the tile in the kitchen unevenly meets the new flooring. The transition wasn’t done so there was sharp exposed tile. We had small children and two of them cut their feet. When I mentioned this to Andre the response was “oh really I was just in there walking around in my bare feet & I was fine”. Two year olds don’t look for hazards like adults do. We were also asked to send photos which I found to be offside for sure. In the upstairs hallway has a small chunk of wood right across the hallway to fill the gap, but it wasn’t even with the floor so we were constantly stubbing our feet on it. Just poor workmanship. The baseboards weren’t taken outside, but instead put in the kids play room and one of the spare rooms for people to walk around & trip on. Lots of the walls upstairs are unpainted. All around the entrance & the master bedroom walls have been mudded, sanded, & drywall primed but left I painted. The exterior is in horrible shape and needs painting in the worst way. We read reviews after the fact & see there are many complaints about the condition of the home. We should have received compensation for the state of this home, but nothing was offered!

Great Group Get Away Spot with Amazing View

The location is great tucked away from the city with an amazing view. The place was a perfect size for a large group with lots of space for everyone. Lots of room to cook in the kitchen and bbq on the deck. The pool was a great add on to have in the summer heat. The property itself is a great location and house but does need some further upkeep as it is looking a bit run down in parts. Check in process we were given the wrong code for the door and had trouble at first contacting the host as there is very little reception there. Contact host was very helpful and quick to help resolve any issues.

Bachelorette in the woods!

We had a wonderful time at this location. It’s perfect for large groups with multiple rooms and bathrooms. The view is AMAZING! We were nice and close to a hiking location and really enjoyed our outdoors time (even though it poured rain). Would definitely book again.

Best place to stay for big family/friends

My friends and I stayed here last year and Andre have done some renovations. We love the new renovation. And as always, Andre has always been very accommodating with my group’s needs. The place’s view for winter time is sooooo beautiful too! 🥰 Thank you so much Andre for hosting us again! We had an awesome stay, as always🥰

Work trip at a great property

We stayed at Mountainview country house because of its size and location to accommodate our work crew. Everything was as expected at the house and Andre was a accommodating host to our needs. Would certainly stay again at this property if the opportunity arises
