The True North Lodge is an 8 bedroom 10 bathroom paradise! Tucked in the historic Hahn's Peak Village and adjacent to Steamboat Lake State Park and Routt National Forest. This beautiful lodge is in the ultimate rocky mountain playground! The property is across the street from Steamboat lake, surrounded by beautiful views, breathtaking sunsets, and wildlife. Just 24 miles north of Steamboat Springs. ADA access. Perfect for family gatherings, birthdays, corporate retreats and intimate weddings.

Entire lodge

The property has one ADA accessible bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. There are 7 additional bedrooms on the second floor (5 queen beds and 4 twin beds). Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with shower. The living room has a queen sofa bed and also has a loft space that has a daybed (full size) with pull out trundle bed (twin size). The living room has a guest bath as well.

We are so grateful to have found such a beautiful, accommodating lodge for our family gathering. Private rooms, huge common area, plenty of deck space, and an all you need kitchen. Our family loved being able to hike around Steamboat with trail access right across the road. Everyone in our party wanted to book our next trip here.Thanks for making our family retreat a success.

Amazing place, amazing views. Probably the most beautiful place in Colorado, and this lodge is the perfect place for adventure and rest. The hosts are prompt in communication, and accommodated all of our group's needs. Can't wait to get back to True North!

89th Birthday Celebration

Our family of 18 thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at True North Lodge. The lodge kitchen is completely equipped with most anything you need to cook or bar-b-que.

perfect for our family reunion

We really enjoyed our weekend at Steamboat Lake Lodge. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and it's wonderful that each has a private bath. The space, including the outside deck and the big central room were perfect for visiting while allowing space for individual private conversations. The convenience of the onsite restaurant made dinner easy and the staff was very kind and accommodating. There were just a couple of problems. One of the bedrooms didn't have a screen and the occupants didn't feel like they could open the windows. The oven didn't work which was a little inconvenient though we were able to briefly borrow the oven in the restaurant. We also had a little trouble with the noise from below, particularly the night of the live band. You might include in your literature that the onsite restaurant is actually below the lodgings and with that comes some noise. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. I appreciate the way you handled the reservation changes and payments ahead of time. Thanks for everything!

Great Mountain Retreat

We had a group of 20 that stayed at the facility over New Year’s. The Lodge is set up very nicely with 8 bedrooms which each have their own private bath. Very nice when you have a lot of people. The lodge has a great family room with plenty of seating and a large dining room table. Kitchen is well stocked with anything you may need to prep food. The best part is the owners are great and happy to assist you with anything you may need during your stay. I would highly recommend to lodge as there are so many things to do in this area.

Excellent stay!

We were a group of 13 guys and we had a great time. There are 8 bedrooms + 1 futon on the loft. 8 full bathroom + 2 half baths. Clean property, lots of space in the common areas, well maintained. The kitchen is very well equipped with pretty much anything one would need. Communication with the hosts was very prompt. Would love to stay here again if we come back.

Annual Getaway

Great property, parking a bit tight, glad they had reserved area. All the bedrooms and entire lodge very clean and well kept. Needed some propane for the grill on the deck. Kat was able to arrange it in 5 minuets. Awesome management and property. Thanks for having it available to rent.
