Newly remodeled extended stay home
Single-level home on approximately .5 acre lot with pool, built-in BBQ, fire pit, gazebo and RV/boat parking. 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1400+ square foot home. Complete interior renovation completed in 2022. Exterior paint in 2024. Quiet neighborhood approximately 15 minutes from Legoland and Carlsbad beaches. Breweries, golf courses and resorts within minutes from the property. Walking distance to Albertsons, Starbucks and a variety of restaurants. Community access to hiking trails. Located between I-5 and I-15 with convenient access to both coastal and inland San Diego. Minimum 30 day rental. Great location and weather for remote work, temporary job assignments, relocation and family travel in the San Diego area.
We are making our primary residence available to guests during our extended RV travel. We take great care and pride in our home. Guests will find quality appliances, furnishings and finishes throughout the home. The kitchen is also fully stocked with everything a cook or baker might need. Guests have access to the entire home with the exception of the garage.
There is weekly landscape and pool service. We can schedule biweekly house cleaning upon request. This allows our trusted housekeeper to have consistent work while also keeping the house fresh for our extended stay guests.
We had a great experience with guests in 2024. We are opening up the calendar again during an extended trip in summer 2025. We hope you have an opportunity to enjoy our home!

We are new hosts on VRBO but have a long history of property management. I have been an executive at a community management company for more than twenty years, and my husband is an electrical engineer. We lived in the San Diego area for more than 25 years. We love our home and the location. As new empty nesters, we have begun traveling extensively ourselves, spending more time with aging family members in other parts of the country. We are excited to open our home to others who will hopefully love the area as much as we do.

Our home is our oasis. We love the outdoors, and we spend large portions of the day reading, working and relaxing outside. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The weather is nearly always perfect: close to the beach but just outside of the coastal zone, so it is almost always sunny on days when the beach is cloudy. There is great golf, food and activity across the street at the Lakehouse Resort. Convenient to all major freeways and close to anything you might want to do in North County San Diego.
