The house was beautiful, clean and accommodated our family perfectly. The lake front was also lovely. There was some ongoing construction of a path down to the lakefront that made it difficult to get to the lake, but the property manager came and helped smooth the rough parts of the path.

Our little high school reunion group had a marvelous time. The house fit our needs perfectly. The location was excellent for our activities. Thank so much for a lovely stay.

Perfect lake spot

We stayed for 4th of July weekend and it was perfect. The house was spacious and clean and the location was great. We brought our boat and was able to dock it there. Beds were comfortable, the kids liked the basketball game and we played a few board games that were there. Will definitely rent here again

Plenty of space

This home has plenty of space for multiple families. Beautiful kitchen and great large dining table! The outdoor deck space was great also!

Relaxing on the lake

Great house. Well furnished/stocked. Plenty of room for the family. The kids loved the game room. Host was great and always checked if everything a fine. The deck and porch underneath was great.

Extremely dirty

This home was extremely dirty we had to spend the first day cleaning the house, the host did take money off and replied in a timely manner, however, it was not a comfortable stay due to the cleanliness factor of the house. I would use caution when booking this place.

My family group of 12 people enjoyed our stay at this property. It is definitely family-friendly! The beds were comfortable; the kitchen was well-equipped and had high-end appliances; and the full-length upper deck was perfect for morning coffee. The large dining table was great for family dinners and playing games. All the bedrooms have a split system air handler and stayed cool. The hot tub worked well. The location is convenient to the business center of Deep Creek Lake, and Red Barn arranged for delivery a rental boat with only two days notice. However, there were a few issues. 1) When we first drove onto the property, we were shocked at the poor state of the yard. There were knee-high weeds all around the house; there were also a few old concrete blocks and pipes throughout the yard. There is a path down to the dock, so walking through weeds wasn't necessary to get to the water. 2) The kitchen and den got hot when cooking; the split AC system could not cool the rooms, even though the outdoor temperature was in the low 80s. 3) There were very few lamps throughout the house; we purchased a lamp for the main bedroom. We recommend this property and would stay here again in spite of the poor state of the yard.
