With Cedar Point, Kalahari, & Sports Force only a half hour away, our cottage makes the perfect home base for creating lasting memories on the lake!

Our hosts, Roger and Jennifer, have beautiful, cozy, comfortable accommodations with many amenities. Check-in was super easy and they were easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area and will recommend this home to our family and friends.

We booked this gem for a sister’s getaway weekend and the size worked well for the 3 of us. The cottage had a great location with lake views and close to town. Awesome front deck for relaxing and lake viewing. Loved the decor and furnishings and great use of the space. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen roomy. We so appreciated the nice freebies (bottled water, snacks, popcorn). Hosts communication with us was great! Thank you Jennifer!My only suggestion would be for a few more serving bowls and serving utensils as well as a couple of larger knives for food prep. Overall , we enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this property again!

Great little beach cottage in a quiet neighborhood

We had a great stay in this immaculate cottage, which was a short bike ride to all the shops and restaurants in Vermilion. The hosts were super communicative and accommodating. We would definitely stay again!

We want to stay again!

We had a wonderful time at this cozy home. We enjoyed the neighborhood and took an evening walk down to the water front park. We only wish we would have stayed longer and plan to stay there again!

Pleasant Stay

I really liked the little cottage. It was clean, and the neighborhood was nice. It had all the amenities we needed and I would definitely recommend it to others. We also found a nice little private beach down the road that we absolutely loved.

Two day getaway

Great little cottage for our getaway. Close to the cute downtown Vermilion area and right across from the lake. All the details were thought out just right, you will have everything you need for a stay. Clean and cozy.

Beautiful Cottage

This place was more then perfect.We went up for my sister's wedding and couldn't have been any happier. The host of the property where amazing and very helpful. The cottage was cozy and peaceful. We loved the deck on the front of the place at night its relaxing. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway!

Lake view in Vermillion

Very relaxing stay in quiet lakeside community of Vermillion. Cottage was cute, cozy and very clean. Nice downtown area that has plenty of shops and eateries. Our hosts were very responsive to any inquiries. We would definely rebook the cottage.

My husband and I are longtime Huron residents. We're both teachers in local school systems and love to travel. After staying in many vacation homes ourselves, we decided to embark on becoming hosts. We are parents to three wonderful children. Our oldest daughter is a combat medic in the army and our other two children are in college. We have a son who is studying to become a mechanical engineer and our youngest girl is following in her parents footsteps and working on becoming a teacher. When we're not hosting, we love to get out on the lake in our small boat or travel to new places. We absolutely love sharing our wonderful area with others and we hope you come to love Huron and the surrounding areas the way we do.
