This spacious home was perfect for our family gathering, with comfortable spaces for the 93-year-old, 1-year-old, and everyone in between. It is a convenient base for local exploration throughout the Pioneer Valley or if you need to house a larger group for events, like the wedding we attended.

Beautiful location and clean house with all the amenities! Loved our stay here as we were visiting our son that goes to Thomas Aquanis College.

Charming home in great location

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here. This house is lovely and well-maintained; we also enjoyed exploring the nearby towns. Check in was a breeze.

Family holiday

The Mountain House is a comfortable, quiet and well-equipped home for a family vacation or holiday. Close to everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful house; excellent host

We enjoyed our holiday season visit to Western MA using this beautiful house as our home base. Everything was clean and convenient, and our host Andrea was quick to respond to questions and comments. She even found a toy one of our kids left behind and has been kind enough to return it to us. We'll hope to visit again!

Stunning Property

My husband and I stayed 5 nights over the 4th of July week. The house and property were beautiful. It was wonderful to see the stars and fireflies at night and we saw deer in the back yard at 3 different times; glorious. So much better than any hotel; worth the price. The owners were very accomodating and nice to work with. Would love to go back someday!

What a gem!

If you are looking for that perfect family home in a Beautiful and private setting - Andrea’s home is perfect! If you are an NMH-er visiting your student or you want a great spot to explore the gorgeous Northampton, Amherst, Northfield area this place is wonderful. The bedrooms, kitchen, dining and the deck and sunroom feels so solid and welcoming you can tell they take good care to make it so functional and spacious for a group or family! Everything was so clean and kitchen was well stocked if you like to cook! I will definitely stay again when I’m back in this familiar and special part of Western Mass!

Lovely house in a quiet area. We enjoyed it very much and would return again.FYI there is a caretaker who lives in the basement unit of the house. It wasn’t a problem for us at all and they were very quiet. We were just surprised because it wasn’t mentioned on the listing and we didn’t find this out until arrival day. We appreciate when things like this are clearly stated on the listing.
