Vintage 1940s Home recently remodeled and updated. Charming and spacious house, within walking distance to downtown shops. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home built by the premier builder of the time showcases the quality and thought of the mid century designs. Most of the furnishings and majority of the fixtures are new, including high end remodel of the kitchen.

As a family with Grandparents, parents and their young children we were very impressed with this home. Great layout (solid and quiet), natural light, comfortable beds-everything we needed and very clean throughout. Although there had been some initial concerns about the location because we were told by a local family member that there were homeless potentially using the nearby park, I’m happy to share there were no problems. We felt very secure inside and same for our vehicles parked outside. Convenient to many restaurants, stores, Ramos donuts (great breakfast sandwiches & burritos). All in all, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends plus the AC was a blessing on a warm weekend.

The home was so clean with lots of character. Looking out the rear of the home has floor to ceiling windows that looks onto the outdoor balcony and a green and open space that you can glimpse the Sacramento river. Loved it for 10 days and would stay again.

The house was just perfect for us (3 sisters). We each had our own comfortable rooms with plenty of space. Water pressure and hot water were good. We didn’t cook on this trip but the kitchen was spacious and well equipped. Red Bluff in the summer is hot but the air conditioning was more than adequate to keep us cool. The house location is convenient for getting around town and beyond. One sister is quite picky about VRBO locations and she gave this one her seal approval. This house is a place where we would definitely stay again.

Pleasant, relaxing stay

My family recently spent a long weekend at this property. It is a an interesting vintage house that contains charming details carefully updated with modern conveniences. Everything was clean and comfortable, bright and relaxing. The kitchen is well-stocked beyond the typical level for a vacation rental. The property owner was responsive to requests, and our stay was quite enjoyable. I would love to stay here again in the future if we are in the area.

The property is overall very nice. It has all the amenities - cookware, basic pots and pans, coffee machine etc. it has a large patio. The only negative is that place has a lot of cockroaches, spiders and bugs and should have been cleaned a little better.

This home is beautiful and cozy. We stayed here with my parents, my son and his new wife and teenage son. There was room for everyone to congregate and still plenty to have our own spaces. We loved how it was renovated, it has beautiful craftsmanship that they kept. The host also has history on the house that we can read about, and it blew our minds. We guarantee anytime we come to town, this is the only place we will stay. Ooh, the bedding is beyond amazing in each room. The host is kind and communicated great with us.
Plenty of room for family dinners, easy to cool with all utensils available
The views were very pretty with all the natural lights.
