Whether you’re looking for a family getaway, girl's trip or a romantic weekend. This charming coastal chic cottage with a tranquil backyard including a fire pit, has what you’re looking for. Located in a peaceful neighborhood with bay view and access to fishing and kayaking. Centrally located to the beach, Strand area, Moody Garden and Pleasure Pier.

THE SPACE:
Welcome to the Blue-bay Cottage! As the name tells we are close to the Bay. Ideal for fishing and kayaking and evening walks. The house was built in 2012 with 2 bedrooms both with queen size beds. 1 full size bathroom. Full size and equipped kitchen with breakfast area and bar chairs. The house interior is a mix of vintage and modern decor and wall paintings.
Tropical front and tranquil back yard.

- Outdoor dinner table perfect for morning
coffee and evening dinner.
- Private driveway with parking space for two
cars.

This was the perfect stay for us. We were 6 minutes from the beach, Walmart and food places. Peaceful atmosphere, very quiet. I’d recommend this spot a thousand times and we will definitely book here again when we come back to Galveston!!!Host was amazing and best of all, great communication.

We stayed here during the annual Galveston Historic Homes Tour and had a great experience. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It’s located in a quiet residential area, which made it easy to unwind after a full day out. The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout. We’d definitely recommend this property and would happily stay again.

Nice property, well renovated and worked well for my needs. Nice place to stay especially for the money. The cleaning could have certainly been better before check in, but that could have been an oversight this time

The atmosphere was calm amd quiet even in the midst on surrounding construction projects. The beds were comfy and the host responded in a reasonable time! Check in and check out was easy.

The house was perfect for my Mom and I for a few days. It was a very quiet neighborhood. The backyard was wonderful for sitting out in the evenings. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Regine was super informative and responded to questions very quickly!!! We would definitely stay again!!!

This was a great little get away for our family during Mustang week. Close to Moody Gardens. There were a few things that needed to be addressed but Regine was great at communicating. The back yard was def an unexpected surprise. Very cute. We didn’t get to cook out but a nice little extra for a cook out and the kiddos to romp around in.

Amazing stay

The host was really easy to communicate with and very hospitable. Backyard was gorgeous so full of life. Interior was very welcoming as well. Check in was a breeze and even had some waters in the refrigerator for us! Thank you for such a welcoming home away from home.

Great vacay beach house!

We had a great stay at this beach house for our beach vacation for spring break! Quiet neighborhood, great location, loved the house and decor! Love the layout as well. Regine is a fantastic host! We actually ended up staying longer than we planned because our kids were having just so much fun! Definitely recommend.

This property was AMAZING. Extremely clean walking in the door and right by the day. Located in a fairly quiet area, but also right in the middle so you aren’t far from anything at all. The host was very quick to respond to any questions, give suggestions, and even provided extra bug spray due to recent rain in the area. We came for a softball tournament and the host wished our girls good luck multiple times (came out champs top!!). All the way from Oklahoma, and we will definitely do it again and try to stay here. It was a better price than most around here, including the condos and hotels. The best was the washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets already there. Very simple clean up - towels in the floor, start dish washer, and lock up. No stripping beds or anything extra. I’ve stayed at many VRBO/Air B&B locations and this was by far the best.

Cute and Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at this cute cottage! It is affordable, comfortable, and very clean! The host has the cutest decor throughout the home, and was very easy to communicate with. Check in and check out was an easy process. We would stay here again!

Cute beach house

The house was perfect for my husband’s 30th birthday that we celebrated with my sister and brother in law! We had a wonderful and comfortable stay for the weekend while we got to explore Galveston. Would definitely come back!!

Lone star rally

Great location for anywhere you want to go in Galveston. Boulevard, the strand, the sea wall, 61st street it’s all within reason! The beds were comfortable, backyard was a cute retreat, has all amenities, handicap friendly if needed, one car driveway but parking on the street is accessible. Quiet neighborhood and we have no complaints! Will stay here again!

The house was not cleaned prior to us checking in. We had to clean and wash our own sheets before we went to bed the first night as it appeared that they had not been changed from the previous guest stay. There was still dishes on the dishwasher and the cabinets were dirty and had trash in them. The bathroom needed much attention also. I could go on and on about this but let’s say I will not be back. Multiple attempts were made to send pictures to the owner to back up our complaints but was met with resistance. I would highly recommend that the owner go inspect the property herself and see if she would stay in the dirty dusty house. There was no PROFESSIONAL CLEANING DONE and to back up our statements, one of us cleans homes as our profession.

This was a very cute, clean, and well stocked home. We drove in very late and were excited to see how lit up the property was for our arrival. Getting in was easy. The A/C worked well and beds were comfortable. We were grateful at how stocked the place was. There were more than enough towels and washcloths for 4 people, extra actually. It was a very short trip for us and we didn’t have lots of pre planning time. I forgot coffee but they had packets for all 3 mornings for us. There was even extra detergent to wash our beach towels. The neighborhood is older, but felt safe. The house is higher so it gave an extra feel of security too. Close to everything we needed. The home is exactly like the pictures. I did chat with the owner before the trip and she was very helpful and responded quickly. We would definitely stay here again.
