"Al Belvedere" home in the greenery of the Belluno Dolomites Park.

Nestled within the Belluno Dolomites Park, at an elevation of 700 meters, with a breathtaking view of the Feltre peaks, this house is part of a building dating back to 1917 and is the result of a renovation project undertaken by the owners, two creative individuals who paid meticulous attention to every detail, giving the home a unique character. Surrounded by woods and meadows, it is the ideal place for those seeking to relax in nature. The private garden and the porch with a barbecue will provide you with wonderful evenings outdoors.
The house occupies the front section of the building and spans two floors. On the first floor, you’ll find the spacious dining room with the kitchen and a large table. Climbing a steep wooden staircase will take you to the first floor, where the sleeping area consists of a bathroom with a shower and two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with three single beds). Both bedrooms have direct access to the long wooden terrace. The terrace is also the perfect place to retreat to read a good book, perhaps while sipping a beer (brewed at the famous Pedavena brewery, located 5 km from the house) and watching for squirrels, roe deer, foxes, and hares roaming the surrounding area.

You reach the house by driving down a steep dirt road, and you can park near the house.

The outdoor courtyard is shared with two other homes (one belongs to the owners, who are only there on weekends), but there are 10,000 square meters of private land to explore and a beautiful veranda (for exclusive use) for dining al fresco, surrounded by the flowers and plants that thrive here.

There is no central heating.

The tourist tax is €1.50 per person per day, payable upon arrival.

Valbelluna (a valley stretching from the city of Feltre to Belluno) is part of the Belluno Dolomites Park; it’s a strategic location for any type of tourist because it combines the beauty of unspoiled mountain landscapes—where you can enjoy your favorite sports—with easy, quick access to the most beautiful art cities of the Veneto region.
SPORTS you can enjoy:
- hiking: the Belluno Dolomites Park is traversed by the Dolomites High Routes No. 1 and No. 2 and by a network of over 200 km of CAI trails, in addition to the nature and themed trails created by the park.
- Biking and mountain biking: Numerous bike paths and scenic roads winding up the mountains make the area one of the most popular destinations for cyclists and bike tourists.
- Water sports: 40 km away is Santa Croce, a major tourist destination for sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and fishing; and 20 km away is Lake Corlo or Lake Mis (30 km), where you can rent boats or take a dip.
- Paragliding: just 4 km from Mount Avena

ART AND CULTURE: We are close to some of Italy’s most beautiful cities: Feltre, 7 km away, a walled town perched on a hill dominated by its castle; Belluno (26 km); Treviso (60 km), Venice (100 km), Vicenza (90 km), and a number of medieval towns and villages, all surrounded by the stunning natural backdrop of the mountains and of great historical and artistic interest: Mel (20 km), Agordo (50 km), Cortina d’Ampezzo (100 km), Bassano del Grappa (50 km), and many more. Not to mention the Venetian Villas, built between the 16th and 19th centuries—there are about a hundred in the Belluno area alone—which you can visit by following itineraries on foot, by bicycle (you can even rent electric bikes near the house), or by motorcycle.

FOOD AND WINE: You’ll find excellent restaurants nearby, and during the summer, the neighboring towns host a series of festivals and fairs celebrating local products—a great opportunity to discover the region’s culinary specialties and enjoy the atmosphere among food stalls and live music. For beer lovers, there’s a historic and beautiful brewery in Pedavena (5 km away), and just a few kilometers away, you can explore the Prosecco hills, now an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
