Charming Cottage on a hill by Camelback and Kalahari

This beautiful 3 bedroom cottage sits atop a hill in the amenity filled Emerald Lakes Community in Long Pond in the Poconos.

With 5 beds, 5 TVs, a mini pool/ping pong table a fusball table, a fire pit and two porches everyone will have space to relax and something they enjoy.

The Emerald acres community is loaded with amenities including indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, 6 lakes, basketball and tennis courts and more. There is a fee, payable to the community, to use the amenities. The cost per person is $20 for a one day pass, $30 for a 3 day pass, and $50 for a one week pass. Additionally, adventure is in your backyard with the Kalahari resort and Camelback Mountain about 7 minutes away and the Delaware state forest is two minutes away.

This house is great place to spend a time with family and friends. Four nice bedrooms, two bathrooms, funcional kitchen / dining/living area with an island, plus game and TV room. Fantastic setting for fun time. Ground area is not big but there are multiple well designed areas for different activities. Everything is clean and functional. Grade:10

The pool is close to the house, 15 minutes enjoyable walk or 3 minutes drive. It was nice and clean. The temperature was warm and comfortable for a spring season.

Great stay! Cozy house that has everything. Was perfect for the weekend. Host has great communication. Location was 17 minutes from camelback and other attractions. Very convenient.

Such an adorable house with lots to do and explore! There was even more than what was in the listing. For families, there is also a pack and play and a swing set in the backyard. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after the kids went to bed!

House was absolutely charming and had such beautiful scenery! Host was friendly and had quick and helpful communication from the time I booked through our check out. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, and the game room was a huge hit! Hoping to come stay again and experience it maybe in the fall! This was just the relaxing family getaway weekend that we needed. We felt right at home from the time we walked in the door.

The house was amazing! We stayed for the weekend with family, and Patrick had everything warm, clean, and ready when we checked in. He was very responsive and happy to help with anything we needed. The house had more than enough sleeping space, and the kitchen was fully equipped. Thank you, Patrick!

Patrick the host was great! Everything was as shown, with extra touches. Fully stocked kitchen, cooked a thanksgiving dinner without any issues. Beds were comfortable and we loved the deer visiting every day. Very cute!

This has been one of the best trips for my family over the years. And it was all because the host was incredible and extremely accommodating. The property had everything, nothing was short or was lacking. It’s kids friendly, From the game room, a fully stocked grill and the relaxing hot tub. Perfect spot for a quick getaway and relaxing time. Highly recommend and sure will visit again.

Great Pocono Get-Away

My family and I had a great experience staying at this cozy 4 bedroom home. The kids loved the play room in the basement which has a pool table/air hockey table/ ping pong table. Camelback mountain is only a 10 min drive which was convienient for us skiiers. In the evening we enjoyed dinner, drinks, kareoke and pool time at the clubhouse down the block from the house. I would rate this locations 5/5 & definitely plan on renting again!

This cottage was amazing. It was a perfect blend of cozy, spacious, charming, relaxing, and immaculately clean. The beds were comfy. The temperature control was great. There were tons of thoughtful touches, for example the bathrooms were even stocked with qtips, cotton balls, hair ties, and makeup specific face towels. We were provided plenty of bath towels and extra blankets. The working fireplace was one of our favorite parts as we sat around the coffee table playing board games while it snowed outside. This place truly felt like a fantasy mountain home. Patrick was extremely responsive and kind, and allowed us a late checkout so we could enjoy the house more. Overall I cannot say enough good things about this place! I think this was actually my favorite home rental I've ever stayed in. Thank you Patrick!

Full disclosure - we were only here for the NASCAR race; got up, had breakfast, went to track, came back late each day. Cannot comment on other aspects.That said, the location is excellent for track access. About 10 minutes except for race morning when traffic is terrible at the track entrance. After race back home in 10 minutes. The house itself is clean and can sleep 4 in separate bedrooms. Kitchen is perfect, very well stocked, all the plates, flatware, utensils you could need for all types of cooking. Bathrooms small but clean with everything you need. The place is clearly older with a lot of upgrades, particularly relating to the electric system and A/C. Numerous TVs with a bewildering array of cables and no instructions (from what we could discern) but 2 of us were in IT and got things going to watch Stanley Cup. Every room has an A/C unit with, shall we say, interesting retro fit but they all did the job just fine. Mount Pocono about 15 minutes away with all sorts or restaurants as well as a Weis and Walmart for groceries. Cannot comment on hot tub, game room, community pool, or Wi-Fi; just never used them. Regarding the electric system - the microwave will trip a downstairs breaker if the door is opened before it stops cooking. Similarly, the dishwasher has a dedicated GFI that is a bit hidden, look underneath if it trips. Patrick was always available for questions, a great host. We highly recommend this location for a race weekend.
