Our family had an excellent get away at this lake house, The views and atmosphere were serene and peaceful. The swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing were a definite bonus, With a well stocked kitchen and outdoor grill, we prepared wonderful meals. Evenings featured a fire pit with good conversation and roasting marshmallows. The multiple games and pool table filled the grandchildren's quieter hours. Our hosts were most accommodating and easy to communicate with if needed.Thank you for the memories.

Squad mother/daughter weekend

Wonderful place to stay. Owner communicated immediately and let us stay longer on Sunday. Beautiful place . Very clean and had everything!! Definitely will be back.

Great Stay!!

We have a family of 7 plus 1 friend and the sleeping arrangements were great! We enjoyed fishing from the dock and kayaks and relaxing at the pool table or watching tv! Would recommend!

Check-in and communication with owners was easy and efficient. The house had everything we needed and my kids loved kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and fishing there. Beautiful quiet lake and perfect location for a family get-together. Game room was a big hit!

Lake house with friends

We have stayed at this house for several years. It is located on a great spot on the lake and has a really nice dock. We always enjoy it.

Relaxing Long Weekend

Had a relaxing long weekend in a great location and with all the amenities. The Blue Bay restaurant was fantastic and only 5 min drive from the house. Definitely would stay again! Thanks

Great spot

The house was perfect for my long weekend with girlfriends. Loved the common spaces. Especially the large dock area and screened in porch.

The perfect house on the perfect lake

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house and lake are both spectacular. Golf course was a 7 minute drive and the restaurants/grocery store was less than 2 minutes away. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Another great year at this perfect lake house

we love renting this house. It’s clean and tidy, right on the water. The golf course is only a 9 minute drive and the grocery store and restaurants are walkable. Lisa is very prompt to respond and is a great owner. Looking fwd to booking this house again same time next year. Thanks Lisa!

Sisters weekend away

We spent our weekend in this beautiful home for our sisters 50th b day. Even though it rained all weekend we had a great time on the screened porch, played games and enjoyed the sound of the water. We had no problems and there were plenty of kitchen stuff to cook all our meals. Great place to stay, thank you for sharing your place with us

Beautiful inside and out! Very comfy.

This was a great place to get together! The house was wonderful with plenty of room. We had 6 adults and 5 children. The kitchen had everything we needed and the oversized grill made cooking for everyone easy. The lake and view are awesome. Peaceful, fun. Lisa was easy to communicate with and eased any concerns I had. Would most definitely stay here again!

Best Family Visit!

My family and I stay in this area every year to visit family in W. Newfield, ME. The location, house and access to the lake was fantastic. Over the course of the week we spent most of our time at the house. Thanks to John and Lisa for providing the watersports gear- we kayaked and paddleboarded and the lake is beautiful. My daughter loved the pool table. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was in good shape. All in all, highly recommended.

Beautiful Belleau Lake

We loved our stay on beautiful Belleau Lake. So peaceful and quiet. Loved having the kayaks available to explore all the coves and inlets around the lake. The house had everything we needed and so convenient to the lake with a great sitting area, table and chairs right there on the water to relax with coffee in the morning and warm sun in the afternoon. Plus a great fire pit for relaxing around at night. Lisa is a fantastic host, available for any questions and very responsive. We will definitely be back.

Making family memories

Our stay was perfect for making memories with our elderly parents. My father wanted to be on the water with a porch he could sit and view. Checked off the box big with that. His sleep habits has to include being reclined, hence the reclining chair provided. Checked off that box. It was about making memories and that was the largest check box. Thank you for the most wonderful stay to make these wonderful memories!

Beautiful Spot; Great for Families

We had a wonderful week at Belleau Lake. The house is clean and well supplied. Our teenagers appreciated having the downstairs to themselves. The lake itself is beautiful and there were many days we had it almost to ourselves. Loved having use of the kayaks and paddle board. The house and its hosts are definitely 5 stars. The only drawback for us was that East Wakefield is not near many attractions. When the sun was out, we were in paradise. On our one rainy day, we had to be creative to find something to do, but I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing, family-oriented time.

Beautiful Belleau Lake

Absolutely loved staying on Belleau Lake at Lisa and John's beautiful home. What a unique property! Dock and sitting area right on the lake, screened-in porch on the main level, open floor plan kitchen-dining-living room with cathedral ceiling, even a game room on the lower level. AC was most welcome as it was pretty warm the first few days we were there. Enjoyed nights around the fire pit and days on the water in the kayaks or just sitting on the dock reading and relaxing. Also great hikes nearby, went into Portsmouth to look around and have dinner, only 1 hr away. Lisa was a great host, answered all our questions right away. Will return next year.

Beautiful

We had the pleasure of staying at John and Lisa's beautiful home on Belleau Lake with our family for 4 nights. Their check-in directions were so easy, the house was spotless and so welcoming and comfortable! Plenty of room and sleeping options for our party of 9 people. We had so much fun and spent alot of time using the lower lever with the pool table, dart board, stereo, comfortable couches, warm pellet stove and cute little bar area. Plenty of ice on the lake for our yearly family ice fishing tournament where we caught some nice sized fish (small mouth bass, catfish, perch and pickerel). The Trophy went to the winner who caught a 23" pickerel!!! The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed a nice family turkey dinner, chicken parm dinner and enjoyed delicious appetizers watching the Superbowl on the big screen tv in the living room. The view of the lake is so beautiful!!! Their home is so cozy, warm and inviting. We had such a nice relaxing fun weekend in their home. This house will not disappoint you, worth every penny to stay there!!! Lake Get Away

The home was well kept and had a wonderful view on the lake. There were 9 of us and we all fit comfortably there.. would recommend this home for your next lake vacation.
