✅ Dock Access to Moosehead Lake (Ten Minute Hike Through the Property Trails) 🧭
Immerse yourself in the authentic charm of our handcrafted two-bedroom log cabin, nestled deep in the woods with stunning views of Moosehead Lake and unforgettable sunsets. After an exhilarating hike or snowshoe adventure on our private fifty-acre property, treat yourself to a relaxing soak in the whirlpool bathtub.
This is a true rustic retreat — lovingly built by hand, the cabin offers a down-to-earth, unplugged experience that brings you closer to nature. Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and a private deck overlooking the lake.
Please note: the cabin is simple and authentic, with natural wood finishes and a cozy, lived-in feel — not polished or modern, but full of character and charm. The hiking trail down to the dock is uneven and rugged — more of a hike than a walk — perfect for those who enjoy a little adventure with their tranquility.
With direct snowmobile trail access, you can ride straight from the cabin into hundreds of miles of scenic terrain. Whether you're here to explore, unwind, or simply disconnect, this woodland escape offers a one-of-a-kind stay in the heart of Maine’s wilderness.

🪵 Disclaimer: Rural Cabin Stay – Please Read 🌲
By proceeding with this reservation, you acknowledge and understand that you are renting a cabin located in the rural woods of Northern Maine. While we strive to provide a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained environment, there are natural elements that come with the setting:
🐭 Mice Activity: Mice may be present year-round due to the surrounding wilderness, with increased activity during the cooler months (fall and winter) as they seek warmth indoors. We use natural and sterile methods to treat the cabin, but occasional sightings or signs of mice may still occur.
❄️ Ice & Snow: Icy conditions are common in colder months. We do our best to salt and shovel walkways, but some ice may remain. Please use caution when walking outside during these times.
🕸️ Spiders & Webs: In this remote wooded setting, spiders are prevalent. We clear webs before each guest’s arrival, especially around the exterior, but they often rebuild quickly due to the natural environment.
By confirming your stay, you accept and understand these conditions as part of the authentic and rustic Northern Maine experience. 🌲🏡
