High Mountain Cabin, Spectacular Views, Minutes from Park City + Bunk House

The property includes 2 cabins. The 4,000 sq. ft. Main Cabin was built in 2007 and it located at the 8,000 foot level in the Wasatch Mountains near Park City, Utah. 220' of covered decking wraps around the entire cabin offering spectacular views. The deck has seating and tables for about 40 people. We have two 5 burner BBQ units on the deck. The main cabin has 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main cabin sleeps 22 in beds.

Also on the property is a 900 sq. ft. 2 story Bunk House that can be used in the warmer half of the year (May 1 - October 1). The bunk house sleeps 12 with 2 queen beds in the loft and 4 pairs of bunk beds on the main floor. The 3 bedroom Bunk House has a half bathroom. The Bunk House is equipped with a large screen TV with an XBox game system. The Bunk House is only a 50 foot walk from the main cabin. The Bunk House can't be rented by itself to a different party.

The main cabin is 3 levels that include a game area, computer desk and 3 bedrooms on the upper level, a common area on the main floor with a 70" Ultra HD TV, a spacious master bedroom with a 45" TV, dining area and kitchen. The lower level has a projection movie theater (12' screen), snack bar, air hockey, and 3 bedrooms. Each of the 3 levels has a large full bathroom. The hot tub is outside of the lower level. A children's playground is near the hot tub along with an automatic scoring basketball game. A "moose toss" beanbag game is on the main floor deck.

A full sized sand volleyball court is nestled in the quakies below the bunk house.

We have a tether ball court next to the bunk house.

Had a great stay at the lodge and would definitely go back. The fall weather and color was perfect and even got a snow on our last day with was cool. The massive wraparound deck was perfect with grills and plenty of tables/seating. Inside there was plenty of space in the kitchen and livingroom for everyone to hangout and so many beds!

Great family reunion gathering place

Our family had a great time here. There were lots of activities to keep everyone occupied and plenty of space to gather. The porch and bunkhouse really added a lot to the space too. While we were there the main fridge was broken but the owner clearly communicated this and provided coolers. The fridge downstairs was working fine, so it all worked out in the end. Thanks for a great stay. Our family made some lovely memories here.

Lovely location

This cabin was perfect for our family, lots of ages of children and five different families. Lots to do and the surrounding area was beautiful. Takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get into Park City, but we also went the other way and did the backroads through Oakley, Peoa, Kamas and it was a lot of fun!

Great for our Family Reunion

This place came highly recommended from friends and it did not disappoint. We stayed here for our family reunion and we loved it! There are so many things for the kids to do on the property and the proximity to Jordanelle and Park City was super convenient. We saw moose, deer, and elk every morning and night as they wandered through the meadow. There was plenty of seating on the large wrap around porch during meals. Thanks for a great stay!

Incredible amenities, Surrounded by nature at the ridgeline

I would absolutely rent again. My biggest disappointment? The fireplace was gas (as advertised) and not wood. Seriously, this house has space and looks like a log cabin with every modern amenity. The pool table was a natural conversation and socializing area. The kitchen was excellent. The beds were comfortable. Communication was a piece of cake. All as advertised. I arrived with my party midway through a snowstorm and had no issues. However, I had a 4x4 SUV and grew up in Chicago and Omaha. So, check the weather report if you don't do snow and ice. All of this is clearly and explicitly discussed by the owner. Amazing place for folks go get together, catch up., and break bread.

Birthday Weekend with friends

The cabin was beautiful and the view was spectacular. Please make sure you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle if traveling in the winter and snow. Marty was amazing. One of my guests left her wedding ring and Marty found it and mailed it to us. Tanner was responsive to all requests. Would definitely recommend

Once in a lifetime family vacation

Our family wanted a once in a lifetime trip and this place did not disappoint! Beautiful property, every possible accommodation provided, down to the snow sleds! Host was very responsive and it is very obvious they put love and care into their home. Thank you for a very white, very Merry Christmas!

Family Reunion.

It is a nice place. We were all pretty comfortable. It doesn't sleep as many as we we thinking in beds. There are couches to sleep on.

Lovely mountain retreat!

This cabin (cabins!!!) was perfect for our group of 24 with plenty of room to spare. The bunk house was perfect for the kids to sleep in, and the wrap around porch and gorgeous weather made our days so relaxing. Would definitely recommend for a big group!

Great family cabin!

The host really made this a place for large families. So many activities on the property, comfortable beds and tons of kitchen supplies. I think this is the best stocked home I have ever stayed in. Would 100% recommend. And we saw wildlife every night! We saw elk, deer, porcupines and more.

FABULOUS Family Get Together

Everyone attending had the best of times. Some are Utahn's...However, many are from several other states. Every family member (34) were in attendance. A rarity!! I can't express just how wonderful every aspect of your home was. Cleanliness, Atmosphere, inside and out, comfortable and enjoyable. A resolve by all to do it again and again. Thank you I hope you found everything acceptable on our part. Again grateful for a fabulous place to spend my 80th birthday!!!

Great cabin

An excellent place for our family reunion. The bunkhouse was a perfect place for the middle-aged crowd while the children and older family members could retire a little earlier.

Great reunion location

Terrific house. Everything well marked. Beds very comfortable. Only one bathroom per floor but the bathrooms were large and we had no issues lots to do in the property. Kids and adults loved fishing in the barely stocked pond. Hiking options. Games galore in the house. Terrific place. Clean. Kitchen easy to cook in. Seating inside or all around the outside on a wrap around porch. Beautiful vistas. We loved it!!

20 guys on a golf trip. Everyone was comfortable and loved the views from the house. Only complaint is no bathroom in the bunk house, other than that, it was perfect!

Beautiful property

Our family of 11 had a great ski trip weekend! The cabin was spacious, well labeled and clean. Gorgeous views. The owners were responsive when we needed a driveway plow mid stay and came out quickly. Thanks again!

Wonderful Christmas cabin

We stayed here with our 4 kids and their spouses and our 8 grandchildren over Christmas this year. The cabin was perfect. They had a Christmas tree and had decorated the cabin for Christmas. There was plenty of room for the 18 of us. The owner was amazing. On Christmas Eve we had an issue with the heater and it was really cold outside. He went and got a bunch of space heaters in case they couldn’t find someone to fix it on Christmas Eve. He found someone who came out and fixed it that night. It was such a great place to gather with our family. We will definitely book this place again!!!

Great place to stay!

We had so much fun We saw elk, deer, moose and squirrels. The porch is awesome. The views were spectacular. The bunk house was great. Overall, I would say this place was really great for a family reunion.

Annual Family Camp at Silver Crest Lodge

The property was very nice with beautiful views. There were several tables with chairs on the wrap around deck. Our large family enjoyed those very much at meal times and when playing games. The rocking chairs out front were also very nice. The entertainment systems were very nice and well used. The pool table was a big hit. There were lots of comfortable couches that we all enjoyed. The parking space was plenty big - that's been a problem for our big group in the past. The bathrooms were nice - good to have several options with this large of a group. We enjoyed our stay and there was plenty of room for us to relax and have fun together. There were some issues that made the stay not quite as good as it could be: 1. The hot tub was a disappointment as it would not heat up. The water temp never got above 90 degrees and was too cool to use. This was something many of us looked forward to but couldn't use. 2. The rope for the tether ball was so frayed that it broke off the first time we tried to use it. 3. The pantry was full of stuff that we couldn't use and left us with boxes on the floor. It would be nice if there was room in it to store some of our food supplies instead of on the floor. 4. We ran out of dishwasher tablets and dish soap. We had to leave dirty dishes which bothered us, but had no choice. 5. The dryer didn't work very well. We couldn't dry our clothes or towels that we washed.

Amazing mountain getaway

We loved our stay at the cabin. We had 30 people of all ages for a family reunion. Everything is so beautiful and the hosts were very thoughtful to provide everything we needed. We are so thankful to have this time with our family and would recommend this cabin for sure!

Great Cabin with Beautiful Surroundings

Our family had a wonderful stay in this cabin! There was plenty of room for the 24 of us to sleep comfortably. The wildflowers surrounding the cabin were beautiful, and we loved seeing the wildlife and the bright stars at night. The kitchen was well stocked to cook for a large group. Would recommend for a family reunion or other large gathering.

Hi, we are Jim and Linda Silver. We have lived in Utah all our lives. We looked for a cabin we could buy to accommodate our large family (5 married children and 18 grandchildren). We wanted some place our family could gather and not be crowded. We fell in love with this property and spent several months making improvements and modifications to make this property the perfect getaway for our family. We enjoy spending time here weather it is the whole family or just a quiet getaway for the two of us.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We like to be in the mountains. Even though it is a mountain setting it is still an easy drive from our home in Salt Lake City. If you want to shop and enjoy a meal Park City is only 15 min. away. It is also close to boating and fishing. Since purchasing the cabin we have discovered that one of our favorite things is the spacious covered wrap around deck.
The little ones can spend hours circling around on their scooters and toys or playing in the sand box on the deck. Our family has a great time whenever we are here.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

In the summer it is not unusual to see deer, moose, or elk as you are sitting in the hot tub on the lower patio. In the winter the hot tub is also a great after a long day of skiing.
