One of the most beautiful VRBOs we have ever stayed in. The house was perfect for 3 couples!!! Beautiful view of the lake and the tram to the lower deck was a must do. House is absolutely beautiful !!! Shawn is a wonderful host and thought of so many things… we were not missing anything,Shawn- Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Absolutely incredible property with the most special surprises. Shawn, the host, is incredibly hospitable and went over the top to make our stay better than we could have imagined. The only thing I’d change is the ability to give it 7 out of 5 stars. If you’re considering staying here, you should book right now.

Excellent location with great views of Canandaigua Lake. One minor issue that was immediately remedied by homeowner who, I should add, was a welcoming and hands on host.New construction with great common areas and plenty of room.Two thumbs way up!

Shawn couldn't have been a better host. The house was perfect for our family and we all agreed it was our favorite VRBO rental we've ever had. You won't be disappointed renting with Shawn. He was incredibly quick to respond, eager to make things as comfortable as possible for us and overall just a pleasure to work with.

Our stay at Braeloch was nothing short of spectacular! The property exceeded our expectations, and we already had high expectations from the photos. The setting was perfect, the views were breathtaking, and the home was equipped with every amenity imaginable, including many thoughtful extras we never would have expected.Our group of four couples had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy both time together and our own privacy. Between the spectacular views, great fishing, and beautiful sunrises, there was something special about every day of our stay.The host was fantastic! I began texting with him a few weeks before our arrival to help coordinate our plans, and he was always responsive, helpful, and accommodating.One extra tip: if the neighbor happens to be selling homemade maple syrup and barbecue sauce during your stay, buy them! They are delicious!Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. Braeloch is truly a special place, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional getaway. It is definitely a place we would love to return to someday!

This was, by far, the greatest home I have stayed. Absolutely no worries about what to bring... everything is fully stocked, down to shampoo and toothpaste. Complimentary wine, elegant space, just a place to enjoy and revel in the beauty and peace.

The home was impressive. Well designed. The host could not be more helpful and responsive. The house was filled will many extras that you do not find in other VRBOs. It was extremely well stocked, much more than we expected. Game room, hot tub and deck was enjoyed by all. If you like a great home in an area with impressive scenery, food and wine, this is the place to rent. We were 3 adult couples with plenty of room and enjoyed the time we spent there.

Shawn was an excellent host and Braeloch Lodge the perfect place for a winter escape. The home is beautiful with incredible views of Lake Canadaigua and well stocked with everything you would need. If you’re looking to unplug and wind this is your place!

Great stay with family. House was very well appointed with all amenities we needed and then some! The tram to the water was a great plus and we really enjoyed some dock time. Kids loved the secret room!!

We had an incredible time at this breath taking property. Our host, Shawn was incredibly responsive, helpful and friendly. The house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need from the kitchen, to the bathrooms, to every room in between. I can’t recommend this location enough.

This house was spectacular…5 stars! From the fully equipped kitchen and amenities throughout, to the spacious rooms, to the incredible lake views! Shawn was an excellent host, very communicative, and thought of EVERY detail. The house was well stocked with everything we needed (paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, hand/dish soap, cleaning supplies, bath towels, beach towels, linens, chairs:table at the dock, cooking/bar supplies…literally everything!). There was lots to do at the house, considering the hot tub, kayaks, amazing dock, fire pit, full game room, and pickleball court. The location was excellent…just a short drive to the towns of Naples and Canandaigua (and their wineries!); only 11 miles away from Wegmans, Aldi, and Walmart; and close to lots of breweries and restaurants. So whether you want to explore the area, hang out on the dock, or simply relax in a quiet and peaceful lakefront setting, this house has everything you need for an amazing getaway. Can’t say enough…highly recommended! Thank you Shawn for sharing this very special place.

We loved our stay! The home is very thoughtful in how it's set up and extremely well stocked. There is no way to describe the view- it's just perfect! Kids loved the pickleball court (though beware of the weeds on the side) and the loft down to the lake where they skipped rocks. We will be absolutely be revisiting!

Since the earliest days of VRBO, we have stayed in many properties. None and I meanNONE have come close to the excellence of Braeloch Lodge. The architecture and design of the house are exquisite with smart placement of living room , kitchen, play area and bedrooms. And then there is the outside with tram, dock and fantastic lake views. The owner has anticipated every need and provided ample supplies. He was always quick to reply to questions . The owner obviously cares that his guests are comfortable and happy. Our family had a wonderful holiday at The Braeloch Lodge. It’s easily the most impressive rental any of us have stayed in. The panoramic lake views were stunning and never got old — whether we were nestled by the fire or simply walking around the home. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed — kitchen, bathroom, linens, towels — which made the stay incredibly easy and comfortable. The “secret room” was also a huge hit with our children, who spent hours reading and playing in their own little clubhouse. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Braeloch Lodge was the perfect vacation rental for our getaway. The views of Canandaigua Lake from the house were absolutely stunning, sunrises over the water were magical and the peaceful setting made it feel like a true escape. The games room was a huge hit with our family, offering hours of fun and entertainment. The lodge itself was beautifully maintained, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better location or experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the Finger Lakes!

I’m not even sure where to start—what an incredible host and an incredible home! The house itself was stunning: clean, open, modern, and beautifully designed, with amazing views to match.It was also one of the most thoughtfully stocked homes we’ve ever stayed in. Everything we could have needed was provided, including appliances, glassware, Tupperware, bathroom toiletries, fully stocked showers, and extra personal-care items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, and feminine care products. There were even snacks and wine waiting for us, which was such a nice touch.The beds were comfortable, everything was clearly labeled and organized, and it was obvious that a lot of care went into making guests feel welcome and at home. Shawn’s communication was excellent before, during, and after our stay. He is truly a gem.Easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. We would 10/10 recommend this home and host!
