Stephanie was a pleasure. Excellent accommodations with speedy response for any questions or needs that we had. The house is beautiful and clean with more than enough space for our large family. The kids had plenty of space to play, run around and adventure outside. Our 98 year old grandfather/father was able to maneuver around and stay comfortable while we were visiting. We hope to make it back and celebrate 99 years with him before long. We are so very greatful and appreciative of the accomodations that Stephanie had put forth for us. We traveled from Michigan and Texas and it was nice to arrive and have no worries. Just relax, visit and enjoy the views and time with our family. We will definitely be coming back and seeking out this beautiful home and property that you call Glens Place. Many thanks!!

Everything was perfect! Quick response from host when we had questions. If you want a warm, cozy farmhouse, this is the place.

Honestly the descriptions and photos don't do this home Justice. The outside has some spectacular views and is so relaxing. We came up for a ball hockey tournament in Utica and it was absolutely the perfect way to relax and unwind with a large group. The house is a perfect size for people to have their own space but also have it feel like a community area in homey. We were lucky enough to get up there on a Thursday so we were able to get the fresh homemade donuts down the street and I'm telling you they are worth it. We bought fruits and veggies from the local stands and meet to grill and cook with from the local market costs were amazing and overall saved us so much time and money for a large group of teenagers and adults. Never mind the fact that it was outstanding food and way more nutritious than hitting a drive-thru or fast food somewhere. If we come up again next year we will definitely be renting can't recommend this home enough.

Wonderful stay

This property met all of our expectations. It was very large, spacious, clean, welcoming and comfortable. I especially liked the little "touches" that Stephanie provided, i.e. her information booklets of places to go and eat, welcoming drinks, etc. I will definitely rent this property again when we are visiting New York.

Lovely home and beautiful location

We recently stayed at this charming remodeled farmhouse, and the photos don't do the setting justice. From our arrival, we were captivated by the original charm of the house. Our host was readily available and very responsive, which certainly helped make our stay seamless. The home was immaculate, and the furnishings were all comfortable and inviting. We had plenty of room for our group of 10 to spread out, and never felt cramped. The kitchen was well-stocked, with everything we need to prepare all our meals. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy retreat with modern amenities.

Father in law family vacation

We came to have a family vacation for my father in law who has had quite a few health scares for a good few plus years; and with living in WNY his whole life never got a chance to see the Adirondack mountains. My husband, sister in law, and myself wanted to give him that chance. That was when we came across this beautiful gem of a home. Such an incredible vacation location! It was so peaceful and beautiful everywhere you looked. The house was a cute farm house that kept it's rustic charm with the few modern updates that we have in today. So much room where we had 11 people and not no one was bumping or sitting on top of anyone. The rooms! So huge and equipped with the most fluffies bed and pillows I ever had! The porch was where it was at with the views, so very peaceful for lounging and taking it in. Even had a fire pit for a way to end a long day of vacationing. Very easy to find from the main road that was conveniently located on a dead end road, so no traffic will be disturbing your stay. Literally 15 minutes to Hinkley lake where you can do the beach life, fish, walk some trails, boat, raft, kayak etc. Need a quick trip to the store, no prob; stores are about 10 minutes away. About 40 minutes to Old Forge, but trust me the drive is worth every minute. Definitely will be coming back in the future for another fun filled experience.
