Bill was very welcoming and hospitable. He showed us around and made sure we were settled in. The apartment had everything we could need for a few days and we made the most of the lovely views from the balcony and hot tub. The location was ideal for getting to Golden and Kicking Horse resort to visit Boo the bear as well as venturing out to Glacier & Revelstoke.A perfect place to stay and a perfect host.Thanks Bill!

A beautiful and peaceful stay. The view from the terrace is amazing and watching hummingbird feed was extremely relaxing; almost as much as the hot tub! Thanks so much

Great stay with the most amazing view. Bill was very kind and welcoming. The beds were nice and the rooms had black out curtains which I enjoyed. Loved the hot tub. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Very nice flat with an amazing view on the river and mountains. Well equipped and cosy house; Bill was very helpful. We were able to use their hot tub. It's about 15mn drive from Golden's city center, not a big inconvenience and it's worth it. Some mosquitoes also as expected at this time of the year, that's the price to pay to be in a lovely place in the middle of the wood. Would definitively return there.

Bill may very well be the best host I’ll ever stay with. The view is wonderful and Golden is a lovely town to visit.

Such a gorgeous space! We had a wonderful stay at Bill & Maggie’s place, it had everything we needed and more! Bill gave us a fantastic welcome and some great info on the local wildlife/area, but mostly left us to it unless we needed anything which we also really appreciated. The view from there is stunning and we had a really tranquil time, the hot tub was the perfect temperature and we left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed!If we are ever lucky enough to be back in the area we would stay here again in a heartbeat, thank you :) 3

Everything was fabulous. It is a beautiful location. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was just very comfortable. The hot tub and the wood-burning stove was a nice touch for a winter stay. Bill was very responsive. Would like to stay again.

This place has very comfortable beds, furniture, great layout, and clean. The host was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We would definitely recommend this property.

My wife and I stayed for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic time! Bill was very helpful and kind in ensuring we arrived safely through some blizzard weather. The hot tub was well maintained, the views incredible, and the place super cozy. We were leaving wishing we had a few more nights to stay!Don't let the opportunity to stay here pass you by.

Fabulous place to stay just outside Golden. Beautiful view from the balcony and the accommodation itself is extremely comfortable. Bill couldn’t have been more helpful both in settling is in and in giving brilliant recommendations for how to make the most of our stay. Would highly recommend without any reservations.

Comfortable, quiet, cozy and simply a remarkable rental! The host, Bill, is extremely knowledgable about the area and anything you may want to do while visiting.I enjoyed white water rafting, visiting 3 National Parks and taking long walks on trails on the property.

Great stay

The property was comfortable and cozy for our stay. We enjoyed the view and relaxing in the hot tub. Would definitely come back

Mountain getaway

Very nice accommodation in a peaceful setting with fantastic views from the deck. Everything went as planned and would recommended this apartment for anyone with a car looking to hang out in Golden

Great stay at Hawkes Hill - nothing could have been better. Bill was an excellent host and was so kind to give us a vase with some of his beautiful flowers to enjoy during our stay! We also enjoyed Bill's sweet and lovable cat, Bella!
