Stunning place with a great view and amazing hosts

Had a lovely 5-day stay in this quiet and amazingly pretty corner of Corfu. Nice honesty bar at your disposal and really friendly and helpful hosts!

Could not have asked for better holiday accommodation - Amber Villa is a beautifully located, well equipped and comfortable villa - the rural location provides a quiet setting, yet still only a short drive to the attractions of Corfu Town. Anya and George are perfect hosts ensuring that we wanted for nothing - would recommend Amber Villa to anyone seeking a quiet location in beautiful surroundings

Ermones Villa ist eine ideale Unterkunft auf Korfu. Anya ist eine wunderbare Vermieterin. Sie erkundigt sich aktiv und gibt gute lokale Tips.Auch wandern geht sehr gut in dieser Umgebung.Es wird jeden Tag die Wohnung gesäubert, der Müll entsorgt und die Versorgung mit Bettwäsche und Handtüchern ist sehr großzügig.Der abendliche Sonnenuntergang ein Traum! Die Beschreibung und Fotos auf der Homepage sind genau passend!Wir haben es genossen und der Strand war im August auch nicht überfüllt!Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!Andrea und Uli

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, alles wurde uns genau erklärt. Es stand sogar ein Päsentkorb mit Kaffee, Wein, Honig, Marmelade,Süßigkeiten für die Kinder usw. im Haus. Vor Ort gibt es eine Minibar, wo man gekühlte Softdrinks, Wein, Bier, Snacks und Waschmittel für einen fairen Preis kaufen kann. Im Haus war alles, was man braucht. Beinahe täglich kam der Roomservice. Wir erhielten per WhatsApp viele Ausflugs- und Restauranttipps. Zwischendurch wurde auch mal nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Also rundum perfekt. Vielen Dank!

Großartige Unterkunft, fantastischer Ausblick, tolle Gastgeber

Feienhäuser mit privaten und gemeinschaftlichen Terrassen, tollem Ausblick, hervorragend geführt von sehr freundlichen und sehr hilfsbereiten Gastgebern. Eine kleine Bar-Hütte mit 24h-Selbstbedienung auf Vertrauensbasis. Die Fotos der Anlage sind originalgetreu. Abends und nachts ist der Garten traumhaft beleuchtet. Und das alles in sehr ruhiger Lage. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Ein Auto ist wegen der Entfernung zum Strand und des recht steilen Anstiegs zur Ferienanlage empfehlenswert. Dafür wird man mit dem tollen Ausblick entschädigt. 6 von 5 Punkten!

Amazing stay at Ambre villa

We had a lovely stay at the Ambre villa. The Villa was clean and confortable with a direct access to the swimming pool and an amazing view on the sunset every nights. There are good restaurants close to the villa accessible by car or by feet. The communication with Anya was very fluid and helpful. We highly recommend to stay at the Ambre Villa.

Perfect!

We had a great time at the Amber Villa, which is very well equipped and looked after by the owners, Anya and Georges, a very friendly and genuine couple. The view on the sea and sunset from the terrace is fantastic and the swimming pool lovely. The owners helped us to rent a boat and were very attentive and responsive to our needs. The honest bar where you can help yourself with drinks and snacks like biscuits is useful and a nice idea. Thank you very much Anya and Georges!

Idéalement situé avec belle vue

Très bon accueil de Anya avec un BBQ avec toites les spécialités locales. Vie magnifique sur le coucher de soleil dzns la mer. Piscine très agréable. Je recommande vivement !!! Belles plages à proximité.

Lovely stay in a small paradise

We stay for two weeks in the Amber Villa. The Villa is beautiful. Kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom and a nice living room. All what you need. Cleaning; everyday (exept Sundays). New towels for the bathroom; every two days. The Amber Villa is close to one of the beautiful pools. The view to the sea and to the mountains is gorgeous. Anya and George the owner from these lovely place are very friendly and helpful. All in all we´ve had wonderful two weeks! Regards Patric

Die Betreiber dieses Objekts bzw. der gesamten Anlage haben sich umwerfend um uns und alle ihre Gäste gekümmert! Ein ganz dickes Daumen Hoch von uns!!!!

Toller Ausblick

Insgesamt schön angelegt. Wir waren die erste Juni Woche. Alles feucht im Haus. Badezimmer alt und innen liegend. Wurde noch mal gereinigt während unserem Aufenthalt. Durch die Feuchtigkeit bildet sich Schimmel im Bad. Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden.

Ein wunderbarer Urlaub in einer traumhaften Umgebung

Unserer Meinung nach ist die Villa Bernstein die angenehmste der 7 Wohnungen, welche die Anlage Ermones Villas umfasst. Die Wohnung ist gut geschnitten und sauber mit adäquater Einrichtung und ideal für 3-4 Personen. Ein wirkliches Plus ist die überdachte Terrasse mit direktem Zugang zum ersten Pool und einer traumhaften Rundumsicht. Insgesamt ist die Anlage, die steil am Berg liegt, mit viel Liebe entworfen und gepflegt. Die Gastgeberin Anya ist außerordentlich freundlich, hilfsbereit und effizient. Täglich kam jemand zum Saubermachen, Müllabholen und Bettenmachen, sogar zum Abwaschen. Die Wäsche wurde öfter gewechselt als sonst in Ferienwohnungen üblich. Der Strand von Ermones (ca. 5 min mit dem Auto) ist etwas endtäuschend, aber es gibt nette Strände etwas weiter entfernt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Beautiful setting and wonderful views

We had a lovely few days here. The weather wasnt great sadly but that didn't spoil our experience. The 2 nights we got to watch the sunset were really wonderful. Anya and her husband were great hosts and looked after us really well and the villa was lovely and well equipped. We would definitely return!

The place to be

We spend one week in ermones villas. Anya and George are great hosts. They are available if you need anything but you don't see them if you don't need. All the taverns they recommand are fantastic. The place is so peaceful with a fabulous view. A glass of their delicious wine rosé, feta and honey from the beekeeper farm just beside every evening in front of the sunset ! What else ? Also You have everything in the villa. We spend a very good week. We recommend everyone Ermones villas "les yeux fermés". Guillaume et Lisa

Basic amenities, peaceful location

Amber Villa (Ermones Villas) is in a good location on the East side of the island with beautiful views of the valley and the sea. The villa is up a quaint mountain road ; a 5 minute drive from Ermones Beach (not really walk-able due to the steep slopes). For the price, the villa is basic in terms of decor and amenities but functional. Anya and George were wonderful hosts and looked after us very well making the stay a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

I'd like to note with your indulgence that Ermones Villas is situated on the west side of the island. Just the location may be quite important for some travelers. The closest beach is less than 1 km away from the property. The distance is walkable, just it depends on preferences of every person. Some of our guests found the hill a bit steep. Other guests they found walking to the beach, local taverns or hiking to the village or up to the mountain very enjoyable and pleasant. Anyway I recommend to all our guests to hire a vehicle. Besides I could say that on any island it's quite important if you want to see all its beauty. Corfu has a plenty of wonderful beaches and beautiful places that you can visit. The best way to explore it is to rent a car or a bike. When you have a vehicle no distance is a problem. Honestly it was a surprise for us to find your satisfactory estimation of the property. With regard to the point of price - quality - service: We provide our guests with the high level of service that you may meet in the kind of holiday accommodation - cleaning every day, the best quality of towels, linen, etc. The kitchen is fully equipped and constantly updates. The furniture is modern and new. The villa has all the necessary things a traveler may need and even more. There are 2 shared swimming pools at your service with absolutely stunning views. Quite and peaceful location. Also you've mentioned about the decor. We understand that every person has individual tastes. We strive to do our best to please all our guests and to make them feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. As far as I understood from your review we didn't managed to fulfill all your expectations unfortunately. Anyway thank you so much for choosing our place for your holiday. Wonderfull

We enjoyed the week we spent with Ermones. The locaion was exactly as described and their BBQ with traditional greek foods was amazing. For sure we will come back and we recommand this place. Anya and his husband are very nice persons and friendly. Dominique and Marylene (Belgium)

Excellent séjour!

Confort, accueil, convivialité: tout y était. Allez-y les yeux fermés, le calme, la beauté du lieu et ce supplément d' âme que Anya et Georges ont su donner à Ermones Villa vous enchanteront. La villa est bien située proche de Corfou et au centre de l'ile. Nos enfants ont adoré l'accès direct à la piscine.

Excellent séjour!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Ermones Villa. La villa Amber est très bien équipée , très confortable ( avec en prime ménage quotidien). L'environnement est superbe, très calme . Les enfants ( 14, 11 et 5 ans) ont adoré la piscine en accès direct. Ermones est très bien situé tout près de Corfou et au centre de l' ile. Anya et Georges ont su donner une âme particulière à ce lieu de vacances et leur accueil et leurs disponibilités sont de grande qualité. En résumé: allez- y les yeux fermés!

sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in toller Lage mit einem wundervollen Blick auf das Meer und die Berge, sehr freundliche und umsichtige Vermieter, wöchentlich einmal Grillparty mit den Gästen, besser als erwartet und unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen

the place were you have to stay in corfu

I stay in amber Villa there 6 days - with my family : my wife Laurence , my daughter Clara, my son Antoine and Mirabelle our cat. (we came by ferry ) - the property is really as it can been seen on the pictures : fantastic view, very good amenities, quiet The place is beautiful , very well maintained - Fantastic owner and family (they are really concerned that it goes well for their customers ),we feel at home (sorry... we are very emotional people and so it's important for us) IMPORTANT to finish , a negative point that can not be hidden..... --> In the evening , I had such a hard choice to make .Where should I drink my Ouzo ???? : Nearby the pool (10 meters from the house) ? , by overlooking the sea and the olive trees or the country side and mountains , (15 meters from the house) ? , sitting in front of the house looking at lemon tree ?.... ... a difficult life indeed ... - Yes !!!! we recommend this property Hervé Chiaradia and family Eaubonne France
