This 3BR/2BA private mountain bungalow is perfect for your next trip to the Blacksburg area! Enjoy soaking in the hot tub on the expansive deck and enjoy breathtaking, panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and New River Valley. Enjoy trains chugging along the ridge below the property, view wildlife from the deck like bald eagles and herons, and watch for shooting stars from your private spa. A short walk down Big Falls rd. provides public access to the New River for swimming, tubing, fishing and kayaking. New River Junction campground and tubing rentals is just a short 1.5 miles down the road for river floating fun!

We had a great stay! Beautiful and secluded location, but the perfect distance from many activities. We enjoyed the hot tub and tubing down the New River. We also found a short hike and amazing brewery (Rising Silo). Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Perfect location, delightful interior, large deck with huge hot tub and awesome views of the New River and surrounding mountains. Nice walk to the river. We saw eagles, hawks, blue herons, great white egret, hummingbirds and yellow finches. They pùt on a show! This is our second stay here but not our last! We will be back!

We love this place! It was our second stay here. Beds are super comfortable. View can't be beat. Nice and quiet stay. Kitchen is well appointed and the host is VERY responsive. Hot tub was perfect. Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful view and location was great to visit Virginia Tech, hike, and be together as a family in the mornings. We wish we had more time at the house to visit the water and hike more and explore.

Amazing location, with walking access to the river. The house is close enough to campus that you can easily get an uber to a game. This place was pet-friendly and had the cutest kitchen. All around great experience.

If you don't mind driving mountain roads this is the place for you! Beautiful views very peaceful, saw deer right off the deckk.

Perfect Fall get away!

Perfect location! River views, mountain views, tranquility all in this wonderful cabin with hot tub on deck! We brought our pup along and we all really enjoyed ourselves. We will be back!

Host gave great direction to find the house and had a beautiful house in a very picturesque location. The pictures dont do the view from the house justice. We enjoyed the hottub after a long day of driving and hiking. The Adirondack chairs on the side of the hill were perfect to sit and watch the sunset. Bed in the master was very comfortable and the house was well appointed with all you need for a stay. I would definitely recommend a stay if you are ever in the area!

Great weekend getaway

This was a great place to stay. Great view of the river on the great deck. The house was perfect for the family. I would definitely like to rent for another time. We will be coming down in the fall to go to Va Tech football games and will try to rent again.

Cozy cabin is cozy!

Property location was nice and peaceful. Fully stocked kitchen and wonderful deck to relax on. Only draw back was 1 shower and it was tight. We enjoyed our stay.

Hi Jennifer, thanks for the review. We agree the shower is tight and that bathroom will be getting fully renovated (with a much larger shower 🤪) this winter so check back in if you’re ever visiting the area again. There’s also an outdoor shower under the deck with gorgeous mountain views! Lindsey

Beautiful Property

This was a fantastic place to stay while we visited Virginia Tech with my teen daughter. The best part about it was the view of the river (we enjoyed the hot tub!), and our puppy enjoyed taking walks along the river. The house was just as described, very comfortable, and had everything we needed, included for our dog. Thanks for a wonderful trip!
