Despite its many modern amenities, the apartment retains its historic charm, highlighted by its location on the second floor of a building without an elevator, adding to the authenticity of the experience. A shared coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement and the absence of air conditioning underscore the property's blend of traditional and contemporary living. Located in a commercial short-term rental zone, this area is more accepting of noise, providing a more relaxed atmosphere for your stay.

Getting Around:
Walking, bicycle, driving is all very easy from here.

PARKING (CONTINUOUS):
In Halifax, parking availability is limited. To efficiently manage the small number of parking spots available and enhance our guests' experience, we've collaborated with the parking operator, 'Honk.' Guests can conveniently select their desired parking duration and make payments by scanning the QR code displayed on the parking sign or with the provided link. Please make sure to register your vehicle to prevent any potential tickets from parking enforcers.

- The guest can arrive any time and purchase the nightly rate for $10 valid until 11:00 am.
- The rate is called "continuous parking" which means that once they leave, the spot might be gone.
- The rate is intended to have guests pay a full night without moving the vehicle.
- The rate expires at 11:00 am.

As an alternative: there is an option to buy hourly rates at $1 per hour.

We were 7 friends who had a grest time in this cozy little appartment. Southside Halifax, 10-15 minute walk downtown. Close to a Sobey's, liquor store, small restaurants, quiet neighborhood. Instructions were clear, I didn't have to reach out to the owner for anything.

A pleasant stay

The property was very clean inside and comfortable. The location is quite good. The property was for sale so there were showings during our stay and we were advised last minute. They have a garbage management issue behind the property - there are a number of units and it was overflowing and quite unpleasant.

Great spot to stay in Halifax

My husband and I & our adult children stayed here and loved it. The location couldn’t be better for walking everywhere, and also proximity to groceries, restaurants, coffee etc. We liked the fact that we each had a bedroom and also a separate living room to hang out & play cards when we weren’t out exploring.

Charming 4-bed apartment, fabulous location

We, a family of six, chose this charming VRBO for our son's graduation at St. Mary's, and it exceeded all expectations. Nestled on the second and top floor of a traditional, historic Halifax home, the apartment exuded warmth and charm, beautifully renovated to modern standards. Its central location allowed us to explore Halifax effortlessly; from the university to the waterfront's best restaurants, we walked everywhere with ease, even popping to the grocery store conveniently nearby. Our host's attentive check-ins ensured our stay was nothing short of perfect, enhancing our Halifax experience. Without hesitation, we HIGHLY recommend this property.
