Quiet forested cabin

Great place to get away. Very quiet and peaceful. Our dogs had a blast exploring the property and we enjoyed the spacious screened in porch.

The stay was good no complaints. Weather was hot screened in porch was great to keep the deer flies away.

Cabin in the Woods

We really enjoyed our stay. The house lived up our expectations. Very secluded and quiet but still close enough to the lakes. Only suggestion is maybe some window treatments in the bathroom.

Off the grid

Good place if you want to stay off the grid. The no WiFi and how many mosquitoes, was the two only inconveniences.

comfortable and secluded

The cabin was very comfortable and secluded. The interior was nicely updated; it felt roomier than it looked because of the high ceilings. The vintage/antique decorations and accessories were interesting and the on demand hot water was a plus with 4 of us showering and running the dishwasher. The property was nicely groomed and we would have liked to wander some of the trails, but mother nature did not give us that opportunity as the area was saturated with rain and mosquitos.

Vacation

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming house tucked away in the heart of a Wisconsin forest! The serene, secluded setting was perfect for unplugging—no WiFi was a blessing in disguise, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in nature and quality time together. The house itself was spotlessly clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sleeping was a dream; the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the quiet of the forest made for some of the best sleep we’ve had in ages. It was the perfect retreat for relaxation and reconnecting with each other. Highly recommend this peaceful gem to anyone looking for a refreshing escape!

Clean Cozy And Comfortable

Beautiful, clean and updated place to stay. Secluded but close to town! The property was very well maintained and very clean. The house was welcoming and bright. Fresh flowers upon arrival!! We will be back next year! The beds and pillows were comfy. Lots of windows to let in the natural light. We loved the fact it was pet friendly. The only thing that was annoying....the mosquitoes were awful. The conditions were just right. It's mother nature and there was a bug repellant candle for us to use. Maybe smoking for mosquitoes might be worth it. Bring bug spray for sure! Thanks!

Thank you for choosing to spend your vacation with us! Yes, we agree the bugs can be bad when you are surrounded by 40 acres, but we hoped the screened in porch would be a nice place to eat, play cards or just hang out without getting chased away.
