What a unique stay! The most beautiful vrbo we have ever stayed in. Thank you so much!! As antique lovers this place was a total dream!!! Within walking distance from neat local restaurants and shops as well!

Historical House

I found this historical house while looking for a place to stay for us son’s wedding that took place in Van Buren. Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Very peaceful atmosphere.

Family time!

The house is absolutely amazing! Full of history and art, we had a wonderful time just looking through the eclectic collection. There were several delicious local eateries and property manager was super easy to work with! Would stay again!!

This home is absolutely amazing. The historic charm is unmatched. What zn honor and a privilege to stay here and get a glimpse into the past. Dan and his wife were the consumate hosts. The house is very easy to find and was very clean. Amenities were on point and as described.

Great historic home in downtown Poplar Bluff

We stayed for a long weekend to attend a wedding nearby. It was a great location to walk around downtown Poplar Bluff. The home was very clean and full of historic charm. The property manager was very communicative. We will definitely book again the next time we are visiting family in the area!

This home is steeped in history. While it’s old the charm of it is appealing. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Amazing place!

This place was so amazing! I loved this history. It was so clean and Dan was an amazing host. Great communication! We have stayed in older homes before and they just feel dirty. That was not the case here. It was wonderful!

Clean, comfortable, quiet

My daughter and I were delighted with our stay at Corrigans', as it was known when I lived there, now beautifully restored. Quiet neighborhood, walkable downtown to a nice coffeehouse. Well-equipped kitchen, great beds, tall ceilings. Screened back porch with ceiling fan. Only wish: a way to open windows at night to turn off AC and have fresh air. We arrived in the rain after dark, took a bit to figure out back gate.

Thank you, Anne. We repaired the light that out by the back gate and I have included instruction on how to open the storm windows. We appreciate your insights.

Home full of history

We stopped in Poplar Bluff on pur way down to Mississippi. This was just a random choice on a map. We loved this house so much. There was so much history inside of it. While it was too hot to be outside the whole time we spent here, we enjoyed looking at all the books, knick knacks, pictures, etc. It kept the children entertained for quite some time. We were here over the 4th of July and we loved how close it was to the parade location and we didn't even have to leave the front yard for the fireworks! We were very happy with a randomly chosen spot on a map!

More beautiful and spacious than we could have imagined! Super clean yet very cozy.

This home is amazing. We have traveled all over the world, and this was one of our all-time favorite houses. Pictures don’t do it justice! The decor is interesting and layered without feeling cluttered or like you’re in someone else’s private space. Fully stocked kitchen- we enjoyed a nice dinner in the historic dining room, and grilled by the pool for another great evening in the large enclosed patio space. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra pillows and blankets. If you need a nice place to stay, you’ll love it. If you’re into historic homes - you’ll never want to leave! Epic. We’ll be looking for a reason to come back soon.
