Beautiful Apartment, Short -Term Vacation Rental, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, fully equipped, complete Kosher facilities, A/C, all amenities, easy access to shopping & bus lines. Central to all city sites. Quiet, back street. The apartment is located on 6 Mordechai Hayehudi st., close to The Emek. The apartment is not on the main street, so you won't hear the bustling sound of the traffic, but you'll enjoy being near the shopping centers of The German Colony and Talpiot. The apartment is on the 1st floor. For those who are interested in renting cars, there is a designated parking space for the apartment. The building is wheelchair accessible and there is an elevator.

The apartment is on a quiet, back street and readily accessible to all main areas, and in walking distance of all major sites, as well as a short walk to the Kotel.

Although we are located on a small, quiet, tree lined street we are only a few minutes walk to shops, sidewalk cafes and restaurants in and around the Emek.

Mishael was a wonderful host. Made sure we had everything we needed. reliable communication. The location was perfect... easy walking and public transportation access to everywhere we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Great apartment

The apartment was perfect for us. Very clean, comfortable and close to shopping, restaurants, etc. The owner was very helpful in providing all of the information needed. We look forward to staying in this apartment again!

Clean, safe, charming

This property was very conveniently located. Grocery stores, restaurants and the Hadar Mall were in easy walking distance. The host, Mishael, was very welcoming and made extra effort to ensure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We will strongly consider staying here in the future.

Lovely apartment in great neighborhood

We were delighted to have a well outfitted apartment . Even though we are just 2 we enjoyed having 2 bathroooms and a spacious apartment. Our host was especially helpful.

Wonderful Apartment

The apartment is beautiful and suited our needs perfectly. The immediate area is lovely and quiet, but there are many stores and eateries just within a block or two. The designated parking spot is a real plus. Mishael is a lovely person, and he was very attentive to our needs.

Just to point out, though the listing says 1 bathroom, there are actually 2 bathrooms: 1 with bathtub/shower, the other with stall shower. This very much improves the convenience for renters. The host Mishael is very friendly and accessible. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable, and there are plenty of drawers in the dresser. The other bedroom has a good closet with plenty of hangers. There is also a Mamad right in the apartment, which is the room just off the master bedroom. The kosher kitchen has 2 sinks and separate plates and utensils. The dining table seats 4 comfortably. There are chairs and a couch in the living room. There is a designated parking spot in back of the building, which is very convenient. The apartment is on the 1st floor so it is easily accessible via the stairs. But there is also an elevator if needed, though it does not run on Shabbat. The street is just a block away from Derekh Bet Lehem, which is lined with shops and eateries. But the fact that it is on a "side street" protects it from noise and constant traffic. In sum, this is a great place!

Fabulous Apartment in Baka

This apartment fit our needs perfectly. Great kosher kitchen, 2 bathrooms, nice bedrooms and living room. A/C with an outdoor porch. Well appointed. Located on a quiet block with designated parking, which is a real plus. The surrounding neighborhood is active with many popular local stores and eateries. We will stay here again if it is available.

We had stayed in the same apartment when last visiting Jerusalem in 2017.

There have been many changes made to the property including adding an elevator, a balcony and extra bathroom. The apartment kitchen is kosher, separate dairy and meat. Was adequate for a couple and ok for more. Unfortunately some of the construction finish could have been improved on but for a short stay was manageable and that location for us was perfect as it was very close to our friends homes and a 15 minute walk to the German Colony. The owner was very helpful and available to answer questions.

The apartment is bright and spotless, with a big balcony and easy access from the lobby. The location in Baka is perfect, near stores and restaurants. The primary bedroom is big, with an attached bathroom. There are 2 full bathrooms. Washer and dryer are new. There is a saferoom inside the apartment. Communicating with the host was fantastic. He responded immediately to any questions and he is a kind and patient man! I had the best time visiting Jerusalem, partly because of this lovely apartment.

Excellent location for my purpose (being close to family).Great balcony, unfortunately next to noisy road, but tolerable, and the interior is soundproofed against it, so when inside, it is not an issue. I was able to enjoy breakfast on the balcony every day. Balcony door did not lock, but a determined thief would need a grappling hook and superior athletic abilities to break in, so this was not a significant concern.Instruction sheet needs an update (e.g. instructions for disposing of the garbage), and it would have been nice to be forewarned to bring all of your own supplies (e.g. toilet paper), but that says more about my expectations, as this was my first experience at this type of experience as opposed to a hotel. A clearer set of instructions would have prevented having to contact the host, who was responsive to my questions.We were given an adequate number of towels for a short stay, but did not discover all of them until later, so we had to do a load of laundry. The instructions for using the dryer could be clearer, as it was confusing as to which settings to use.Easy walking distance to grocery store and pharmacy at Hebron Road and Yehuda.Overall, a lovely place to stay.

Enjoy Your Visit More Staying in this Apartment

I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this apartment and would highly recommend to my friends and relatives. Location is great with many good nearby restaurants and bus lines. My vacation visit was much more pleasurable staying in such a comfortable place. The description is quite accurate. The apartment manager, Mishael. was most cordial, attentive and responsible. I felt he really wanted to do whatever he could to make my visit as enjoyable as possible. He responded promptly and thoroughly to my requests. For him managing is more than just business—he wants his renters to feel very satisfied, and likes developing pleasant relationships with them. I plan to return to that apartment again.

Great apartment in a great neighborhood

What a great week in Jerusalem. This apartment is in a quiet neighborhood with a local market just a block away. Up the street is a great community gathering site with lots of shops, restaurants and where I can rent bikes. The building is currently under construction, the only drawback. Very comfortable apartment with modern amenities.

A wonderful apartment, with great manager, in a lovely neighborhood

I am a 77-year-old recently-widowered and retired (U Chicago) academic from Washington, DC, who recently taught the fall semester at Shalem College. I spent almost 7 weeks (Oct-Jan) in this bright, cheerful, well-appointed simple apartment in a quiet building on a lovely tree-lined street in Baka, very close to an excellent bakery, two fruit and vegetable stands, butcher, supermarket, and decent restaurants, and only a short walk to thriving "The First Station" area of shops and restaurants. Bed firm, giving rest almost as good as my home. Excellent climate control, with well-humidifed heating system. Kitchen appliances simple but perfectly adequate. Washer and dryer in suite work well. Off-street parking in back (I did not use). The young manager of the apartment, Mishael Dickman, is a prince, who arrived promptly to give cheerful service whenever I needed it (once on arrival to get the heating system up to par, once to treat—very effectively—a small invasion of ants, and twice to correct my stupid errors in the use of the washing machine.) I would eagerly return to this apartment when I come again to Jerusalem.

I second everything said by silver spring guest. This is a well cared for and comfortable kosher apartment in an ideal neighborhood with many amenities, thoughtfully taken care of, clean, with attention to detail. Mishael is very available for questions.

Great location, especially if you like walking.

2 floor with minimal stairs in a residential building. Parking is available on the back, which is important in this vicinity. Residential street entrance. Some noise from the outside as the back of the house is close to a very busy street, but you cannot hear it if you close the windows. The apartment is nice and sizable. Light and bright. Floorplan is good and open. After the initial confusion over the number of people who would stay at the apartment, everything was smooth. The owner is responsive on the phone. The deposit was returned promptly. The apartment does not get cleaned while you stay there and the dust collects quickly, just something to keep in mind. Cable and two TV sets, including one in the bedroom. Wi-Fi has good speed. A bakery, a cafe, a fruit and vegetable store and some souvenir shops are around the corner. Public transportation is great. The buses run frequently and will get you anywhere in the center quickly. You can walk to King David tower / gate in about 35 minutes if you walk fast. Great place for the money!

Here are a few details to fill you in regarding what Dmitri had mentioned. 1) We provide a clean apartment for our guests when they arrive. Guests who want to have a cleaning during their stay can add a small fee and we will send over our staff to clean and switch the sheets. There are also cleaning utensils in the apartment for those who prefer to clean themselves. 2)It is important to state how many people will be staying at the apartment since we make bed settings for that number of people. 3) Walking to the old city should take around 25 minutes. Clean and spacious

Very comfortable apartment, was sparkling clean and very spacious. On a quiet street and was perfect for us as we were mostly moving around Baka. A bit far to walk to city center or old city, but in nice weather it can be done :)
