Stay in our cozy Maple Syrup Sugarhouse at Butternut Maple Farm

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway at Butternut Maple Farm in the heart of Burton Township right by the Geauga County Fairgrounds University Hospitals Geauga Campus, and just a few miles away from Amish country.

This brand-new smoke-free fully furnished studio apartment is on the top floor of our maple syrup sugarhouse with a gorgeous second floor deck perfect for your morning coffee or to grill out at night.

During sugar season (January through March), come on downstairs for front row seats to watch and/or participate in the making of our award-winning certified organic maple syrup.

This apartment is newly completed with an inviting kitchenette, spacious bathroom, and comfy living room with a large flat screen television.

While visiting, take a walk around our 6.5 acre farm.

Wonderful room, easy check in, pleasent location, easy access to all the attractions nearby. Steps to the 2nd floor are a challenge if you have mobility issues, but they can be done. Overall very nice.

The loft apartment is a comfortable space and the surrounding area beautiful and rural but close to town. The small bottle of maple syrup was a surprise and a bonus. The hosts were nice and check-in a breeze. We would stay there again.

Very nice stay

We enjoyed a quiet stay at Butternut Farm. The property was very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed for a nice long weekend. Close by to downtown Burton with restaurants and a little shopping, the property is a reasonable drive to Cleveland downtown and other small towns in Ohio. I would recommend this property to any couple who are looking to get away for a little.

Great easy stopover

Extremely clean & nice. Looks brand new. Marvelous mattress for sleeping. For me this 7 min from my sister's home where we were celebrating a special birthday. Easy in & out. Very interesting place. A stay during maple syrup season would be fun

Relaxing and memorable

Renee her husband Peiree were so friendly and accommodating. Loves the maple syrup its the best in town and the puppys were the cutest.The loft apartment was very homey and comfy.We will beback soon.

The Apple Butter Festival was happening in town (very close by) and the two restaurants we went to were good/great. JC’s Restaurant (dinner) and Coffee Corner (breakfast). What a happening little town! We loved it!

This is such a nice property in a quiet area. I hope to go back again, but in the Spring when they are making the maple syrup. It's cozy and clean and perfect for 1-2 people.

Fun to stay here! Best part was the pups greeting us at arrival. Nice outdoor upper deck. And the surrounding areas are beautiful. Quaint town and places to eat dinner & ice cream.
