Private Master bedroom with queen bed. Second room equates to a double hotel room, two double beds ... each with an overhead twin bunk. Washer and dryer in rental. Bathroom with full tub and shower. Kitchen has stove, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig and seating for four. Picnic table & Grill. Living room overlooks the lake. Porch for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Property with a dock, kayaks, paddleboat and beach chairs. This property is newly renovated and tastefully decorated; we want you to have a memorable stay, and want to come back every summer!

Relaxing Getaway

We we're looking for a place to stay near Lake Champlain. It was a quiet and had everything we needed. We loved kayaking! The host couple was wonderful and took good care of us!

Great location and stay!

The house was just as advertised. Nice to walk out to the beach and enjoy the water. Really close to the boat ramp. House had everything we needed for our stay and the host was great to talk to.

Wonderful host, perfect stay!

This cottage is very clean and comfortable. The view of the lake is fantastic, especially morning sun rise. The cottage is ideally located to many local activities to make for a perfect stay.

Excellent location and very responsive host!

Great location right on the lake. Newly refurbished house with excellent service from the nearby owner whenever a small issue came up.

Great Xmas Stay

Everything was great., except for the weather. We couldn't have rented a nicer place. It was clean, nicely decorated, convenient to the water and had everything you could need.. I hope the nest time we come to the area that this rental will be available.

Great location with an amazing view

The cottage was very clean, well maintained and stocked with bathroom and cleaning supplies. There are kayaks, life vests and paddles available on the beach for you to use. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

Our stay was amazing. Our hosts were friendly and stopped by a few times to make sure all was OK. The cottage was clean and had everything we could need. The lake was about a hundred feet from the front door. The view was great and having access to the kayaks was wonderful. There are hiking trails about 5 miles away that our pup liked to run through

Lakeside Beauty

Super clean upon arrival. What a view! We loved the sunrises over the lake and the access to the private dock for swimming and kayaking. Its a really quiet street, but easy to get to things you might need-like groceries and the thruway. Roger was an awesome host-super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this property, its a gem!

Great stay on Champlain

We very much enjoyed our time at the lake. We brought our boat and left it at the dock (you will need bumpers to protect from metal edges) but otherwise it’s very sturdy and very close to the launch. The cottage was as described and the only reason I gave the location 4 stars is we are used to being right on lake with no road in between. Roger was more than accommodating and we would definitely consider returning some day.

Perfect Stay for the Plattsburgh Area!

We are a family of six and a dog and stayed at the property for our daughter’s college graduation weekend. As clean and well kept as can be with everything needed to host some additional family for a few meals. And views that never end with plenty to do and explore in the immediate area. Beautiful setting for 3 day summer vacation.

Very good accommodations. Owners very helpful with eqipment and children. Great outdoor seating at cottage. Stairs down to lake were very unsafe and inaccessible to older people with unsure footing. Missed being able to sit on beautiful pier to enjoy lake.

Perfect spot for ADK & VT Adventures

Our family of 5 had the best week at this adorable cottage. We went hiking, took a trip to Lake Placid and to Ausable chasm, and spent a day in Burlington. When we weren’t bouncing around the north country we were relaxing at the beach area and enjoying the use of the kayaks and paddle boat. Roger was a fantastic host and lives right next door if we needed anything. He also took time out of his weekend to take us on a cruise around the lake in his boat. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to stay while we adventured up north.

Wonderful stay by the lake

We just returned from a lovely stay at this property. The owners couldn't be more friendly and accommodating, periodically checking in to make sure we were having a nice stay and that we had everything we needed. They even let us use their front yard during the week so our 6-year old could throw/kick a ball around. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for cooking, boating, or just hanging out by the fire pit or the water (and the outdoor area was perfect for hosting a small get together). We look forward to returning in the future!

Beautiful Lake Champlain Cottage

This little cottage is Very homey....it has all you need for a short or long-term stay. The owner Roger is very communicative if you have a need or a question? He will answer your text quickly. He offers to help beyond landlord requirements, he is more like a Great neighbor. Thank you Roger, I felt very comfortable & what a beautiful daily view!!!

Returning

Exceeded expectations! I booked this for a sibs annual visit to see relatives in the area. Both siblings are very particular travelers. I arrived a day prior to their arrival. Imagine my relief when they BOTH were very impressed with everything... so much so, one instantly said "Oh, we've GOT to come back here next year!" Excellent for small group! Beautiful location. Off the beaten path but SO worth it. View is breathtaking. Neighborhood is enviable! Definitely hope to return!

Beautiful Cottage and Views

Wonderful cottage and views. Cottage has everything you need and was perfect for a family of 3 and our dog. It was clean, well appointed, great location, right amount of shade and sun. Covered front porch was great and allowed outdoor access regardless of weather. Roger was a great host...excellent communication, quick to answer any questions and even volunteered his front lawn for our 11 year old to practice soccer. Lake level was extremely high so we didn't get to enjoy the beach area and dock but we were still able to swim and enjoy the kayaks. Boat launch right down the street was very convenient.

Relaxing get away

Great little cottage clean comfy and relaxing. Towels were plush and beds very comfortable! Roger and Deb were friendly hosts very hospitable and welcoming. Sunrises across the lake were breathtaking! They did a nice job with the beach area plenty of sand, chairs, a fire pit and a relaxing hammock. Great to have kayaks available as well. Lake was a bit too ridden with algae and rocks for swimming. Was disappointed that cottage was across the street from the lake vs on the lake and that the owners home was literally right next door so privacy was a bit lacking with the amount of driveway traffic they had. Also stinging horseflies a were an issue because garbage cans were a bit too proximate to the house. Thanks again for an overall great stay and your hospitality!
