Located on 62 beautiful wooded acres. This magnificent secluded log cabin is ideal for a vacation from a multi generation family holidays or a small quiet retreat. Liberty Lodge can accommodate 12 people or more. With stunning Skyline Drive sunrises and incredible sunsets of Massanutten with Cowboy Cauldron®, this surreal escape has something for everything.
Relax and star-gaze or watch an amazing sunrise. Take a 15-minute drive to the Four-Season Resort of Massanutten, 20 minutes to downtown Harrisonburg/JMU or 30 minutes to outdoor adventures like Luray Caverns, Rocky Top Overlook or the Shenandoah National Park.
The Liberty Lodge is less than 2 hours from both Washington DC/Northern VA and Richmond. The property offers numerous hiking trails around the 62 acres and direct private access to Skyline Drive. Guests can easily enjoy some dining, breweries and wineries around Elkton, Harrisonburg, Massanutten, or even Charlottesville.

I sent my boyfriend here for a getaway with friends and they loved it! They thought the property was beautiful and it really met all their needs. The host was nice enough to allow them to check in early, and was very communicative.

Wow—such an incredible stay at this property. We came here for a bachelorette and had ample room for everyone to spend quality time together and also get alone time. Gorgeous views, comfortable beds, and convenient to have hiking trails right on the property. Thank you for an awesome trip!

This is a great place to stay. Plenty of space for everyone. Very secluded. We love the walking trail and outdoor fire pit.

Beautiful Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend getaway with friends at Chris' house in Elkton. He was very responsive and helpful. There was lots of room to spread out, and the beds were very comfortable. The views were spectacular!

This place is incredibly spacious. It's remote enough that you don't hear or see anyone for miles, but close enough to other attractions. The bedding and couches are so comfortable, the shower pressure was perfect, and the big bath tub felt so luxurious. We couldn't get enough of the views, especially at sunset on the gorgeous porch and while enjoying the firepit. The hosts provide nearly everything you need for an easy and comfortable stay (especially in terms of kitchen utensils and pots and pans). Chris answered all my messages so quickly and the clear communication is greatly appreciated! I can't recommend this place enough!

This was a beautiful, spacious cabin with plenty of room for our extended family of 10. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, large table and enjoyed the cowboy cauldron for a campfire. The views from the porch are amazing and the privacy was very restful.
