Our stay at the Dark Horse Chateau was great. The chateau was a perfect fit for my family and had all the amenities that we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely stay there again!

Very nice decorations. Excellent location, 15 mins to Silver Dollar City and Branson. We loved the views from the balconies. Jenna is a great location manager. We had some issues with the cleaning prior to arrival, but Jenna helped address them quickly.

Awesome stay

Great place to stay right in Branson, we went to Ridgedale to see concert and only took us 15 minutes, once we left the venue. We used the pool and hot tub. The beds were in the house were awesome. We will be back to stay again.

Absolutely loved the view from the deck! We really appreciated the location of the property, close to a lot, not far from anywhere/anything. Rental was clean and well-equipped. Kids really enjoyed the indoor pool, adults the hot tub. Would have preferred cable TV for local news/weather, but understand that times have changed...

We stayed for the weekend. It was close to Silver Dollar City as well as the strip. Jenna was great to work with.

Dark Horse Wins the Race!

Our stay at Dark Horse Chateau was wonderful! The view of the lake from the balcony is great. With a large living room and well-equipped kitchen, we were able to relax with our friends. The location was close to the strip or to the dam site walking trail. Just what we were looking for.

Fantastic Place!

Our family stayed over Thanksgiving and it was perfect for what we needed. We had a very small issue in the beginning but I was able to message our host and she responded immediately. All was good and I would be very happy to come back and stay! Great location and beautiful views of the lake. Book this home for your next visit!

welcoming with excellent service and great sanity.

The property was in a beautiful spot with the most amazing view of the lake and surrounding landscape. Our experience was wonderful and we have not been treated with such welcoming and friendly hospitality, we would definitely come back again.

Excellent Place

We loved everything about this house. The location was perfect. Had great views of the lake, but could be in town in less than 10 minutes. Lots of space for our family. Hot Tub was great, especially after a day of walking around Silver Dollar City. 10/10 recommend!

Beautiful cabin and view

We were staying in a different cabin that had some issues that developed (outside of her control) but Jenna was quick to resolve our problems. She moved us to the “Dark Horse”. It is such a beautiful relaxing cabin. It is very spacious and clean. It allowed our family to gather together ; but also have room to spread out. The views were outstanding. We will be back!

Girls Trip

We had a wonderful experience! There was seven girls, and it fit us all perfectly, also extremely clean and well managed. It was the most stocked VRBO I have ever been to! Thank you so much for a relaxing weekend!!

Gorgeous view!

We had a family getaway for the 14 of us this past weekend and really enjoyed staying at this home. The deck was a wonderful place to sit and have coffee early in the morning or grill steaks in the evening. It was great that four bedrooms had king sized beds for our four couples and a bunk-type room for the kids. Jenna was quickly available to answer any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again.

Branson Labor Day Weekend

Incredible hosts. Great communication, 5 star set up. You literally plug yourself to the house and you have everything you need to unplug and relax. Was a great trip with my parents, siblings and kids to kick off my daughter’s Junior year at C of O.

We had a great time celebrating our 50th anniversary with our kids and grands --12 of us.. The floorplan of the house was perfect, with enough king beds for all the adults, plus ensuite baths that worked well for our group. The kitchen had what was needed to cook and serve most of our meals for the week, tho there isn't much cabinet space for the food we brought. The fridge icemaker is pitiful (Samsung's fault, not the owners!) so plan on buying lots of ice. And, like at all VRBO's, you should bring your own sharp knife if you intend to cut anything.A few minor cons/suggestions--photos don't show that there is no outdoor space except the 2 decks (which were lovely!) so little kids had no place to play.The bedrooms would benefit from some dresser space to set things on and so you don't have to live out of your suitcase all week.. Also-some hooks on the backs of doors for PJ's and wet towels would be very much appreciated.All in all it's a great place to experience Branson. We'd recommend it!

The view from this property is amazing and relaxing. The house comfortably accommodated 3 families; 5 adults and 4 children ranging in age from 3-15.The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and serve meals. The play area and pool are a short walk from this property, and everyone enjoyed it.

Great view of the lake, the complex is great, the house was perfect for our group. Host was easy to work with, kitchen had all the things needed, set up was great for multifamily travel. Games, pickleball equipment, xbox... all pluses to have in the house. Easy check in and check out process. Great parking. The whole complex is set up so nicely for vacation rentals. House is located very close to the neighbors - would have been nice if the neighbors didn't smoke on their deck since it was so close but nothing our house could have done about that and shouldn't be a deterrent from renting from Dark Horse. Overall great experience traveling to Branson and staying at this great place.

Excellent Place
