The cabin was very conveniently located to visit attractions in the area, such as shopping outlets, Hickory Run State Park, and Jim Thorpe. There are plenty of beds for guests, and we enjoyed the hot tub. We wish that the kitchen was better stocked with flat bottom pans that worked on the glass top stove, and enough coffee mugs to accommodate more people. A few extra blankets would also have been nice, as some of our party got cold. The basement rooms had a bit of a musty odor, and the video game system was frustratingly worn out and difficult to play well. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but don’t show up expecting a luxurious experience.

Home is spectacular but we had no WiFi first night of weekend and manager gave tips for resetting. Sent message Friday night at 9 pm that it still wasn’t working. Next day at 9 am the manager said there was an outage last night and should be up soon. Saturday at 4 pm a man came and finally manually reset. So don’t count on WiFi. The reservation said basic soap for bathrooms so we brought own shampoo but liquid hand soap dispenser at each sink was all that was provided. So second day manager sent body wash for each shower.

Thank you so much for your feedback! As we mentioned upon your arrival, the outage was throughout the entire service area due to a large storm, so we sent someone out as soon as service returned around 2pm the following morning. I wish there would have been something we could have done sooner, but unfortunately service outages are completely out of our control. We also provide information in our welcome packet regarding items we do and do not provide. We still sent you these items in attempt to ensure your comfort, as well as additional toiletries that we do not provide for typical guest stays at your arrival. Had we known you were without any other items, we would have done what we could to ensure you had what you needed. Nonetheless, thank you for choosing our home, and we hope you otherwise enjoyed your stay.
