The neighborhood felt safe and the house relatively clean, except for a few areas. Such as the oven and the bunk bed areas. Some of the furniture looks worn out from use. However the 3 living rooms, bathrooms and all the bedrooms were very clean. It was a great place for my family members to stay. I was worried about impacting the neighbors with 4 vehicles since it’s in a culdesac, but there was plenty of space to park in the double driveway and gravel parking area. We will book from Lydia again in the future.

Family wedding

Family from different states met here to attend a wedding in Pueblo. With plenty of bedrooms and bathroom space it was easy for everyone to have their own space. The host was quick to communicate, the house was easy to find, and had everything we needed. There are a lot of stairs in the house. The bedrooms are plenty roomy and so are the bathrooms. Neighborhood is nice, it’s on a cul-de-sac three living room/sitting areas to visit we would definitely book again.

The house was amazing. I would just have to say the water temp for showers was a little "cold" not very hot. I did tell the Host and she told me she fixed it after our stay. Other than that AMAZING little find in Pueblo.

Check in, check out and communication with hosts was super easy! House is very spacious and worked well for our extended family all staying together. As expected for a multi level home there are several stairs to get into the home and to each level where bedrooms are located. Home was very clean, nice decor, and comfortable furnishings. Quiet neighborhood. The front railing and the back deck could use some refurbishing but the rest of the home has been updated and/or kept in good condition.

Overall good.

The house was nice and roomy. The deck needs work. There a few loose steps and just outside of the kitchen door there were a couple a couple of boards that were spring when stepping on them, covered by a rug.

Recommended

Beautiful house and neighborhood. We would recommend this home to anyone with a large group. Very clean. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable. The only thing i can say on the downside is the stairs My dad is elderly and did ok to navigate up and down but could be a challenge for anyone eith limited motion.

Toilet overflowed (faulty float, not due to clogging). We cleaned up the water. Owner unable to fix it during our stay. 2 couples had to climb 3 sets of stairs to use a toilet. Outdoor furniture was filthy - we had to clean it to use it.

Christmas with family

Upon arrival we thought the house was great. When I went to take a shower there was hair all over in it. I had to clean it myself before I took a shower. It was the same for all the bathrooms. They were not clean. I also had to repair a toilet that I never got compensated for. It was a great house to have a gathering with my family in. But the fact that the toilets didn’t work well and the cleanliness was great bothered me.

Cleanliness is not a priority at all. Walked in and the house smelled of Glade air fresheners so strongly, I got a migraine. The bathrooms had hair, mold and even dried mascara on the walls. The fridge had a dead fly and dried milk on the shelves and the water dispenser on the fridge was beyond gross.However, John/Lydia were very responsive. They sent out a young man, Diego, with a bottle of watered down bleach and a microfiber cloth to try to “ clean”. We will look elsewhere to stay for our annual Pueblo trip next year even though this home could be a “gem” as it’s large and set up perfectly for a family, the “ ick” factor overrides this.

Cleanliness is a priority on our property! We take pride in making sure our guests have the best stay. Our showers have been deep cleaned and disinfected and new caulk. We also have a new cleaning staff.

Could've Been Better

Our group consisted of 4 friends meeting halfway between our homes (Amarillo, TX and Loveland, CO) to spend the weekend together. Pros: Clean, large house with several bedrooms, great for a large group. The River Walk was a really fun activity. We also had the best food at La Forshetta da Massi and Magpies. We got to hang out together all weekend. Cons: The listing originally said that the home was in Pueblo West and that it had a hot tub. We notified the owner and noticed that the wording had been removed, but not having a hot tub was very disappointing. The shower in the main bedroom did not work. It just didn't turn on. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom worked but there was no way to turn off the light so it was impossible to use at night. We ran the dishwasher and it leaked all over the floor. It was not in Pueblo West, so we didn't have a view of the mountains. We would not recommend unless the owner makes some needed adjustments.

The guest never reached out to the owner during their stay addressing any of these issues. The shower works just fine. The bedroom fan works just fine. You just have to use the remote on the wall that’s installed next to the light switch on the wall. The advertisement never states that we are located in Pueblo West. We are located in Pueblo. If you choose to be one of our guests, we appreciate good communication and we are more than happy to address any issues to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

This property was perfect for our large family gathering. We felt torally safe in the neighborhood. The bedrooms worked out great with bunkbeds and a living area on the lower level to put the families with kids. There were 3 lounge areas (living rooms) so we never felt crowded. Plenty of space for eatting as a larger family, plus a nice deck and patio to enjoy morning coffee. Well appointed in the kitchen, bathrooms (plenty of towels). We really had everything we needed. Since family arrived from different areas, we had 4 vehicles and had space to park. Be careful entering the house, the rail is wobbly. Note: there are stairs going in and all bedrooms are accessed by stairs. That is just a note, not a complaint. for those who find stairs a challenge. The host and hostess were so kind and accommodating in communication. We are so grateful for such a good stsy.
