We really enjoyed our stay and especially loved the cat hostess. We are both cat lovers and are without cats at the moment so that was just sweet. We were disappointed to find that breakfast wasn’t served at the bed-and-breakfast and which was advertised on the in the listing, but our host said that it was a separate add-on, Chris, our host was very helpful when we accidentally left a bag behind and we had to drive over and pick it up from him. He was very gracious to meet us.

I loved our stay at Garden House! The room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. I also liked that it's so close to downtown. My favorite part of the stay had to be Cee cee the cat!

Overall about as expected. The Victorian house was comfortable and breakfast was great.

Lovely host, property & location

The Garden Inn Queen Anne home is restored beautifully. Chris - our host is charming, made a delicious breakfast & went above & beyond when I left my Apple Watch behind. Can see the Mississippi River from the front porch. Look forward to returning & exploring more of Hannibal.

Great Place in Hannibal

This house is beautiful and cozy just as described. It was very clean. The host, Chris, was very friendly and accommodating. He told us the history of the house and gave us a recommendation for a dining experience at LaBinnah Bistro, which was delicious! We had a good night’s rest & enjoyed lively conversation over breakfast

Couldnt stay

We had to cancel be because i am allergic to cats and there were several with the run of the house. The town is charming, enjoyed the riverboat dinner cruise and twain museum.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and nice. By sheer luck we were able to get a bathroom to ourselves which was a bonus. Chris was a welcoming and responsive host. Breakfasts were on time and delicious. The house overall had a very pleasant vibe. And we were obsessed with the cats who were very well mannered themselves and didn’t smell at all. We like to take a break from using a car if possible on vacations so downtown and most attractions being within a few blocks walking distance was perfect. Will definitely visit again if in the area!

The property had cats that roamed freely about the house and one got into our room and hid under the bed. My partner is allergic to cats and there was no mention of cats in the property description. Breakfast was marginal. The property was a little run-down.

We have stayed in B&B's for 30+ years. This is the first time we have been told breakfast was not included but we could pay more if we wanted it. The bed was uncomfortable . The cat was irritating. The "private" bathroom was down the hall and someone else tried to get in while I was in there. No bath towels. Just a terrible experience.

Great stay, comfy sleep, love the cats!

Stayed at the garden house for one night while traveling. Didn’t notice on the site the earlier check-in window, but contacted the owner and easily scheduled to arrive outside the window. Very cool setting in Victorian home. Love the classical music playing in the parlor areas. Love the cats, but be aware if you’re allergic could be a problem. cats are not permitted in the guest rooms, but they are in the public space. Breakfast was very pleasant, family style with a rotating menu. Shared bath was not a problem because rooms were not completely full. Recommend!

Convenient location

The location of this property is great. You can walk to many of the attractions. If you are sensitive to cats this would not be a place to stay. Two cats live in the property. Cats are not in the rooms but they are allowed to roam the property in the middle of the night. One enjoyed letting us know he/she was up and wanted some company early in the morning. Communication with the host was very good. There could have been a little more offered for breakfast, There was coffee, tea, juice, yogurt and egg casserole. Felt very safe in the part of town that the property is located.
