This is a very charming hotel. It was surprising to find some rose petals and letter balloons under our bed, along with a few large, sticky stains out on the hall floor, but otherwise it seemed clean enough. The pool is nice and big, with a heated pool "grotto" in the same room. The heated pool had non-operating jets, so if you want that hot tub experience definitely go for a room with a Jacuzzi tub.As for sleeping comfort, I think it's probably a matter of opinion. We had a very bouncy mattress that wasn't quite supportive enough for my comfort, but my husband was pretty pleased with it. There were a a few different types of pillows on the bed, so we had a little Goldilocks moment trying to find just the right ones. There's a bar on site with your standard bar food- wings, mozz sticks, pizza. They all only take a few minutes to heat up from frozen, and honestly the cheese sticks didn't quite get fully cooked. But the bar tender is super nice.Front desk was hit and miss. We tried calling before arriving to see if late check in was ok, but the number vrbo gave didn't have a "front desk" option so we just risked it and it was ok. A sign said they rent out air fryers, etc, but the front desk was often unmanned while we were there and they had no guides on how to call down, so that wasn't possible.Tub in room was awesome. Decor superb. Everyone was nice. Breakfast yummy/plentiful. Would go back at vrbo rate, but not at the full hotel listing price of almost twice the amount.
