Charming, fully equipped farmhouse located 4 minutes from Brookville lake, 15 minutes to the local marina, and only 10 minutes from town. The sprawling, beautiful backyard with mature trees can be enjoyed while relaxing on the large back deck. The owner’s horses are kept on the property and enhance the breathtaking view. Inside, you’ll find the theatre-like family room with a 70” TV, electrical fireplace, and large sectional with dual recliners.
If you’re traveling with kids, there’s a wooden playset (suitable for children over 6 yrs of age), children’s books, toys, and family friendly games available.

Excellent stay! Everything was very clean and very charming upon arrival. The owner even messaged to let us know about a cute little festival just down the street if we wanted to check it out.

Great location while at brookville lake

We had a great time staying here. The property is beautiful and used the fire pit at night time. Very roomy for 6 adults. Great location while we were at brookville lake during the day!

Beautiful farmhouse

Absolutely loved the charm of this house. Perfect location to the event at Lake Shore Resorts. Very friendly horses. Will be staying here next year when I visit.

Family summer vacation

We’ve boated and stayed in the Brookville area for several years. Since our kids are all adults, we needed to find a place that could accommodate all of us and 2 dogs. This place was perfect! Close to the lake and the golf course, which we golfed there 5 times!! Even caught a Reds game and fireworks at Brookville. Just a nice time and this place was perfect.

Sisters Country Retreat

My 3 sisters and I get together once a year to reconnect. This house was very good for us. It was clean and welcoming. The remote location with access to some activities nearby was perfect for us, as we are our own entertainment, generally.

One of the best VRBO's I've ever stayed at! Everything was exactly as described, if not better. Sarah was an amazing host and all communication was handled promptly. She has thought of everything! We had 5 adults and 3 kids and it was perfect.

Unfortunately there were a few things broken at the property when we arrived. The shower knob in the main bathroom off of the master bedroom was broken. The round swing on the swing set was also broken. The deck had nails sticking out and there were posts broken off or about to break. The trash can outside was full when I went to put our trash in there on Saturday morning. There wasn’t enough seating outside. In the pictures I saw online there were two rocking chairs on the deck. We didn’t see them when we stayed at the house. The inside of the house was clean and provided us with the essentials that we needed. Except trash bags for the kitchen, we could have used more of those. The house could have used a sign by the driveway so we could identify it from the road.

Becky, I am so sorry to hear about issues during your stay. I wish you had reached out and communicated these issues during your stay. The shower handle isn’t broken, a professional plumber came to repair the shower after a guests stay. It actually created an issue with the knob being too big post repair. He cut it until the new knob came in and unfortunately, I didn’t have time to have it put on between stays. I didn’t know that the garbage hadn’t been put out on trash day. I could have gotten the extra can out for you. I also have additional pieces to the outdoor couch i could have set out. I also didn’t realize the swing was broken. It had to be from the previous guest. Thank you for pointing that out so I can replace it. Again, I wish you had reached out during your stay because I could have fixed the issues immediately. It is important to me that each guest have a good experience and enjoy their stay. The welcome instructions should have given detailed directions to the house and the address is posted on the mailbox with a yellow sign sitting atop the box. I’m sorry if you had difficulty finding it.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was very spacious, exceptionally clean, and conveniently located near the Fairfield Marina, where we keep our boat.The host was incredibly accommodating throughout our visit. Although there were some unexpected A/C issues, she stayed in constant communication, checking in regularly and offering window units and additional fans during the heat. Thankfully, the weather wasn’t too bad, and the fans she had already provided worked perfectly.We traveled with several children, and it was clear the property was family-friendly. There were toys, books, and even a play area in the yard that kept the little ones entertained.Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely book again for another boating weekend.
