This place is a great deal for the price, location, and use of a full kitchen. In the world of Vacation rentals I would compare it to a Motel 6 in the hotel world. Far superior than staying in a mid-range hotel, but not luxury. With a little effort, this place could be made much nicer. It needs a deep cleaning, pillow and mattress encasements should be on all beds and pillows, and the AC does not work well upstairs, but is quite chilly downstairs. However, if you are looking for a budget rental, with plenty of space for a larger group, this is a good option.

Hands down a great stay and I would go back again and again. I would say the first floor bathroom could use small updates on the floor near the toilets but it didn't cause a problem. The property was amazing the neighbors were great. My 6 & 7 year old found kids to play with right in the backyard. The kitchen is a cooks dream and the owner was really great. The neighborhood was very beautiful and safe. Tons of shipping and food nearby and only 20 minutes into the city.

We arrived early into Chicago and the host let us check in a couple of hours early. House was as described. We had a few issues. After we checked in it was hard to get replies back from the host. We had issues with the bath tub draining and tried to get a response but it took a couple of days to get a reply. The house could also use a good cleaning. Lots of clothes tags and little trash in closets and behind things. Overall for what 4 guys needed on a golf trip it worked for us. We were rarely there and just needed a place to clean up and have our own rooms for sleep. For the price we would stay there again. Neighborhood was great.

Beautiful and safe neighborhood. Great ease of checking in and very affordable for a family. The owner was responive and cooperative. The furniture was extremely worn, very out of date and saggy living room couch. The bedroom off the porch, had a broken bedframe slat under the mattress so the bed sagged terribly and that bed could only hold one small light weight person and was pretty much of no use. Down stairs toilet leaking and many items needed repair. Beautiful and restful backyard.

The house met our needs, especially the location. I would suggest that the owner make the necessary repairs in the downstairs bathroom. Leakage from the toilet has caused the floor to feel soft.

The house was extremely well located. Perfect for the events we came for. We enjoyed the stay overall. Communication with the host was poor. The rental was clean and well equipped. A few things were in need of maintenance but did not have a direct impact on use of the space. We would stay here again.

This house is cute and family friendly. There are a lot of things outdated and I wish there was more lamps/light for nighttime but overall this house has so much character and my family enjoyed our stay so much!

My daughter and their friends had a wonderful time in Chicago and the hours worked perfectly for us. The house was clean and the host was very responsive.
