What an absolutely lovely experience this was! Everything was exactly as advertised, with a minor issue regarding the dishwasher that our host was very responsive and accommodating about. We also truly enjoyed their restaurant recommendation! Great spot if you are looking for something close to Bardstown but also quiet, private, and comfortable for your group. Five stars!!

This property and host were exceptional. Our group so enjoyed coffee on the back deck, cocktails and sunset on the front porch, comfortable beds, and well stocked coffee station in the house. I really appreciated how diligent the host was following up with me during the booking process and the stay. He offered excellent recommendations for dining and things to do. Also, Bardstown was a great central location for exploring bourbon country. Highly recommend this property and this location!!

Beautiful home in a very peaceful setting. Easy to get to distilleries and the village of Bardstown by car or Uber. The home was super comfortable with nothing forgotten. We will definitely stay there again.

Bourbon and Horses vrbo was amazing! Clean, updated home, with very quaint decor! The beds were super comfortable. The yard was serene, lots of seating space outdoors and nice fire pit (covered porch too, should it rain). We enjoyed a long walk in the friendly neigjborhood. Check-in instructions were clear and our host Alan was responsive and amazingly kind (even after we lost the key). We would love to come back again.

Great and quiet spot

Nice little house. Did a great job with the renovation. The beds were incredibly comfortable! I don't think I've ever stayed at a place with more comfortable beds than this. Used the front porch and back outdoor space a few nights. Great communication with the host as well

Celebrating Retirement!

Wonderful! Home was perfect for our group. Clean and nicely decorated. It has everything anyone needs. The location was great; downtown was minutes away, bourbon distilleries all around, we went to visit Churchill Downs. Our host was great. Definitely recommend!

Alan was a great host. Gave us information about things to do in the area. He responded quickly when we told there was an issue with the ice maker. It was fixed quickly The house was very clean and was roomy enough for the 6 of us. The patio was great for our early morning and evening relaxing. Only negative is that the property is outside of Bardstown - about 10 minutes. We we out and about most days so it was not a big deal. We would stay there again.

My wife and I are from the Louisville area, and have been hosting for about six months. We hope to supply a clean and enjoyable atmosphere in the heart of bourbon country.
The house is just a short drive to downtown Bardstown and only a couple miles from the fairgrounds. Abraham Lincoln’s birthplace is just a 20 mile drive. There are so many things Bardstown has to offer for example, come enjoy the dinner train, or the Stephen Foster story.
Myself, Alan, and my wife, Becky, would like to invite you to enjoy our new home.
