We stayed with 8 for a girls hiking trip. Very conveniently located, comfortable beds, and plenty of room. We would all stay there again.

We loved having a wedding here. House was beautifully decorated, lots of places to sit outside. The outside of the home was decorated as well. The views were spectacular. The host was great to work with.

This property far exceeded our expectations. It was stunning. We had a wonderful, perfect stay. The host responded immediately with a question we had. Our family had the best time and we made some beautiful memories. 10/10 recommend!

The pictures truly do not do this place justice! We had our small wedding ceremony & reception here, and I genuinely could not have dreamed of a more beautiful mountain setting for our wedding day.The location is absolutely perfect, and the home had everything our bridal party needed for the weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable, get ready, and enjoy the property together.We were also able to bring our dogs with us, which was a huge plus. Even with the dogs remaining on the first floor of the home, there was still plenty of room and it never felt crowded. The property itself gave them plenty of space to walk, run, and explore, and we loved that we didn’t feel like we were right on top of neighboring properties.The barn was even better than we expected & much larger than it appears in the photos. We were able to have a full bar area, a large dance floor with plenty of room for our DJ and guests, a separate seating area, and still had extra space for decorations without anything feeling crowded.And the views are incredible. Having the mountains as the backdrop for our ceremony was beautiful, and the sunset gave us the most amazing setting for our wedding portraits. It truly felt like something out of a dream.If you are considering this property for a small wedding, gathering, or just a mountain getaway with a group, I cannot recommend it enough. It was everything we hoped it would be & more, & we will always have such special memories here.

Prepare yourself. The listing does not do this property justice. We are faithful VRBO users and have had great experiences. This one took it to an entirely new level. The house was immaculate. The kitchens were stocked as well or better than ours at home and we cook alot. The bathrooms were spotless. Everything about this property screams welcome home. The living rooms were inviting and perfect for socializing. The outdoor living space was very relaxing. The grounds were freshly mowed and lush. The icing on the cake was the barn. I wish we had had more time to utilize it. We did play a little corn hole and visit with the resident ground hog. We WILL be booking this property for future outings. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. She was over the moon with the accommodations. Thanks again!

Family ski trip

Extended family ski trip- great house to stay in for big groups. Lots of room, great views, very close to Sugar Mountain.

Another wonderful stay

Our guests come from Canada, Scotland, NYC and Boston for the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. This is a perfect spot for our annual reunion.

We were staying at this property to have and celebrate my daughter’s wedding. My daughter had the wedding she has always dreamed of. The wedding party stayed in your venue house.There were leaves all of the barn floor when we got there, but we blew them out.Thank you!

Great stay

The house was perfect for my father’s 80th birthday celebration. Lots of space for everyone and we never felt crowded. The house is very well stocked for cooking. Patrik was great to work with. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property and great location. We hosted our immediate family and our daughter’s wedding reception at the barn on the property. We had rain for most of the days we were there, but the property drains very well. Rain unbelievably stopped during the wedding reception and sun came out for a couple hours. Thank goodness! Made for a gorgeous setting and we were so glad we made the choice to host here. We visit BE and the area like 4-6 times a year to see our daughter. We’ve stayed on Beech, Sugar Mtn, in Boone, etc and this location is best especially if large family. Don’t have to navigate 20min of switchbacks to get down the mountain. In fact one evening the entire family just walked down the gravel path to have dinner at Puerto Nuevo’s. We saw deer, rabbits, and even a bobcat. My bird app identified like 16 different species one morning while having my coffee on the second level deck. There are so many little nooks to have privacy if you want as well as open space for larger gathering. I will definitely be back with family and friends.

Beautiful ski slope view!

Plenty of space for 15 of us ranging on age from 5 to 81. Beautiful view of Sugar Mountain ski slopes. Very clean! Easy to get to. Would definitely stay here again with a large group!

Wedding Venue of our dreams

We had an amazing wedding this venue was perfect. The host was great with communication and gave us early check on and check out times to accommodate our schedule. We had a few issues while on site but the host was always easy to contact and quick to offer a solution.
