Its flexible layout caters to outdoor enthusiasts and families. Guests enjoy immediate access to Wilmington Beach, Adirondack Forest Preserve trails, and local dining options. Only 3 miles from Whiteface and 10 miles to Lake Placid, this home promises an unforgettable retreat amid awe-inspiring natural surroundings.

At Boreal Basecamp, we understand that inspiration flows through the Adirondacks' rivers and mountains. That's why we've designed our home to reflect the area’s outdoor lifestyle and the beautiful scenery of the Whiteface Region.

We have meticulously designed every detail of Boreal Basecamp to offer an exceptional living experience. Our accommodation includes a stocked gear closet, fully stocked kitchen, premium bedding, front load washer and dryer, a 75" TV in the great room, and many other modern amenities that guarantee a comfortable and unforgettable stay.

As a guest at Boreal Basecamp, you'll enjoy access to a two-story private back deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee, practice yoga (we provide yoga mats!) or enjoy an evening cocktail while taking in the peacefulness of Wilmington’s newest riverfront neighborhood.

House Rules:

We love our pets too, but pets are not allowed at Boreal Basecamp.

No smoking of any kind is permitted in the home or on the outside deck.

Use of the private deck is limited to 10 pm out of respect for our neighbors.

Upon checkout, we ask that you remove all garbage from the home and place it in the garbage dumpster at the entrance of the neighborhood. Our dedicated cleaning staff will take care of everything else.

Age restriction: All renters and their guests must be over the age of 23 unless accompanied by a parent (I.D. Verification required after confirmed booking)

Had a wonderful stay with family for end of summer trip. Everyone absolutely LOVED the home, no complaints. It was clean, all kitchen essentials provided, daughter loved eating outdoors and making s’mores on the firepit. So many outdoor activities nearby, including fishing, hiking and canoe rentals. Overall 10/10, will definitely be returning!

They really thought of everything for convenience! My friend & I can’t wait to come back w/ our family. Incredibly clean. Beautifully decorated. Thoughtful items to have for our trip. Very spacious! We will be back

Exceptional Stay

The Boreal Basecamp was even better than promised. We loved the fresh, clean and tasteful space. Melinda had the condo outfitted with everything we needed and more-- so. many thoughtful extras! The location was private and peaceful while still being very convenient to Wilmington, Lake Placid, etc. We will definitely return in the future.

Fantastic Stay

This brand new condo has all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting. Our family (4 of us, including our 2 adult children) stayed for a week and explored the area. The owners provided everything you could possibly think of, and things we didn't even realize we wanted! We enjoyed AuSable Chasm, especially the adventure course. The hiking here is amazing- so many hikes to choose from! We even spotted some fun wildlife in the back yard when we were sitting on the deck. We had a good time checking out all of the Olympic venues and had a blast in the curling class. We had a lot of delicious restaurant meals, and had some meals at "home" too, which was great! We also spent an afternoon just relaxing on the beach, and taking the cart down made that easy. This unit is one of the earlier ones to be completed in this subdivision, so there is some construction happening nearby. However it was not a problem for us as most work happening is interior at this point. The host is super responsive and communicates extremely well. I would highly recommend this rental!

This was one of the best places that we have ever stayed at in the Adirondacks. Actually it was one of the best rentals we have ever had anywhere!!! The owners have thought of everything that was needed to enjoy the time that we were there. I also love the fact that we just had to take the trash out and leave. So many rentals now charge you for cleaning and then make you strip beds, start laundry, etc…. Not these owners. The beds were amazing as was the kitchen, grill, and outdoor space. I am already thinking of booking again for a few days of skiing this winter.

Boreal Basecamp is situated in the Owaissa Club neighborhood in the historic Adirondack town of Wilmington, New York. It is home to the famous Whiteface Mountain, which hosted the alpine skiing events of the 1980 Winter Olympic Games and has been a witness to many ski and snowboard greats throughout its history.

However, Wilmington offers more than just Whiteface. The AuSable River winds through the town, attracting canoers, kayakers, and enthusiastic fishermen with its renowned fly fishing.
