Beautiful view of the mountains peaking through the trees.

This property is incredibly clean, well maintained and stocked, and so quiet and peaceful. It is the perfect spot to stay when we go visit our son at VT. I almost don’t want to give a review because we want to keep this hidden in gem to ourselves, but that wouldn’t be fair as Ryan has done such a great job with this property. We stay at the Bird House every opportunity we can when we come up to Blacksburg. Ryan is so accommodating, and a wonderful host to work with!

Simply a great place to stay if visiting Blacksburg. Perfect location...it's close to campus for quick access but far enough away to feel somewhat secluded. Beautiful little house, well designed and built with all the amenities you expect from a home away from home. Wonderful family of deer to greet you every morning. Excellent communication from the host. My go to anytime I'm back in Blacksburg.

The place was as advertised. Very clean and the host thought of everything. Definitely designed for two people. It is very close to Virginia Tech which makes it very convenient.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is great and very quiet. The home was clean and had all the amenities we could need and more. We will absolutely be coming back to stay again.

Gorgeous and perfect cabin

We had an amazing stay here. Everything was very clean, modern, spacious, and private. The owner was quick to respond and provided us with everything we needed. It was the perfect weekend getaway and would stay here again!

Cabin was very clean and surroundings were quiet. The host stocked the kitchen well with cooking tools. This is a perfect place to stay if you are looking to unwind and relax. I really loved the windows that let the natural light in. If I am ever looking to stay in the area again, this will be the first place I look.

Luxury Cabin

This little cabin is so clean and luxurious! My wife and I enjoyed it so much! One of our favorite properties we've ever stayed at and would stay again!

The pictures and description are 100% accurate! What they don’t capture is how peaceful the space is surrounded by trees. The location felt so private but was only a few minutes from downtown Blacksburg. We will definitely stay here again!!

The Bird House is very spacious and brand new - was very nice! Comfortable king size bed, private, beautiful views and so close to VT. The only suggestion I would offer is have a pull out couch for those who want to have their Hokie spend the night with them while they are visiting.

Retreat in the woods

Great place for two people, seemed brand new and was well appointed. Very close to downtown Blacksburg.

The house was extremely impressive. Clean, comfortable, has everything you need and the modern finishes make this a cozy stay. The deck is awesome and the grill is easy to use. Tucked away in the woods where i could get peace and quiet, yet only 10 mins from downtown blacksburg.

New, beautifully appointed home which is the ideal size for solo travelers or a couple. All amenities are new and in perfect operating capacity. The host is friendly and responds to inquiries quickly. We will definitely return to this wonderful forest oasis.
