We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It had everything we could have needed and more. The beds were so comfy and the place was in the perfect area for us two as it was so close to amenities. We couldn’t fault it in any way. And the extra added bonus was the sitting out area at the top. Perfect for a warm evening to relax after sight seeing.

This VRBO was very convenient, clean, bright and well-appointed, with comfy beds, large bathroom, nice kitchen and dining area & balcony - lots of room to relax! The A/C worked great and was very much needed during the hot weather during our stay! The host was super pleasant and responsive to a couple of questions and check in/out was easy and convenient. Highly recommend!

Chris is a terrific host, and the property is perfect. Everything you could want for a very comfortable stay in Carcassonne/Bastide St Louis …. comfortable bed, beautiful linens, fully equipped kitchen, bright, open and airy. Highly recommend!

Great location, near anything you need. Loved the kitchen and the outdoor terrace. Chris was very helpful, professional, and proactive in providing information about the apartment, things to do in town, check in procedures. It was a wonderful stay and we really enjoyed Carcassonne.

Short stay in beautiful Carcassonne.

We had a great stay in Carcassonne. The apartment was perfect. Great location and Chris was an excellent host. This property does not disappoint. The terrace would be lovely in the warmer weather. We would love to stay here again.

Beautiful spot in Southwest France

Great spot for a home base to explore this colorful regionof France. Wonderfully appointed apartment has more then just the essentials. We cooked several dinners here using the great ingredients in the stores and the local markets.

This is a beautiful apartment in a great location. It Is the best equipped vacation rental I have stayed in - I like to go to local fresh air markets and cook and the kitchen was great. There are a lot of steps and there was a local music festival, so there was some noise, the owner had left earplugs, Ave the beds were comfortable so we slept well.

Great Apartment, great location = great holiday

Really lovely apartment, great location. Nice and easy to walk to the city and ramparts. Bus stop for the lake is 2 min walk away. Really well equipped and so nice to have more the 4 of glasses, mugs and plates.

Stunning apartment great location

Absolutely loved the apartment. It had everything we needed. Comfy big beds, thick towels, tv, dinng table abd chairs, terrace, gorgeous bathroom and loo etc and a great host who was always available if we had any questions. The cleaning lady was lovely too. As for the cost it was a real bargain for a place like this. Thank you for a great stay

Excellent apartment

This apartment does not disappoint and is exactly as described. Centrally located and easy to get to all of Carcassonne. Chris is an excellent host. Well equipped to a high standard.

We had a wonderful time and the apartment is really well maintained, very clean, modern and very thoughtfully appointed. The terrace is spacious and comfortable, and the hosts have thought of just about everything. The location is excellent, in the centre of the bastide (new town), with everything walking distance. Chris was very responsive and informative, with lots of recommendations. We would give 6 stars if we could!

Best Place Ever!!!

This apartment is on two levels (2nd and 3rd floor) and is truly amazing. The bedrooms and bathrooms are situated on the lower floor, and the living area with the kitchen is upstairs. The terrace is beautiful, and I can only imagine how lovely it is in the summer (we visited in December).The interior design is sublime. There is a washer, dryer, and dishwasher, perfect for a long-term stay. The kitchen is super well-equipped and fun to cook in. We had the best time!

Lovely Apartment in Carcassonne

The apartment and host were great. It has everything a guest could use and need. So well equipped and designer lovely. The host was very attentive and easy to communicate with. Check-in was easy. I rate this apartment and host a 10-star. The only negative I would say is that from the ground floor, at the entry, there is one flight of stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom and an additional flight to the living room, kitchen, and dining. This is okay for younger people but most difficult for older people. This condition could be more prominently communicated on the host site, but the apartment is FANTASTIC! Thank you - Chris

Everything about the property was just perfect! The property was pristine with excellent living space and bedrooms. A/C, especially the week of our visit, was more than welcome! The balcony space was great for relaxing in the evenings when staying in. Location in Carcassonne was perfect for daily trips to Boulangerie Papineau and Place Carnot for drinks and dinner. 5 minute walk from the train station for excursions and well placed for the bus routes to Rocadest and Lac de CavayèreChris was a brilliant host, with contact and information during our stay. The apartment instructions were clear with regards to WiFi/refuse/check out.We have visited carcassonne 3 times in the last 4 years and we would return again to Chris’ apartment in a heartbeat!

Logement neuf, confortable

Le logement est un duplex au 1er étage, non indiqué sur le descriptif. Excellente communication avec Chris. Le logement est magnifique, cosy, bien agencé et décoré, propre, ce qui nous permettait d'oublier les marches !! C'était super, nous n'avons manqué de rien.
