Spacious and beautifully decorated cabin with great views of the Ruedi Reservoir and mountains. We would definitely stay again.

We loved the house and location. We saw turkeys, a bear, deer, fox, hummingbirds and raccoons. The valley next to the home was gorgeous. And the mountain views. I struggled with allergies due to cats being present in the home at some point. And several things needed fixing, maybe updating like the dishwasher. But otherwise it was perfect! Host was responsive and kind, reaching out with a local alert and replying to my messages.

Gorgeous retreat

This house is beautiful! Nestled in the forest the Mountain View’s are amazing. Close to Basalt, Carbondale and Aspen this house is the perfect place to stay! 3 levels with bed and bath and living space on each floor. Perfect for families!

Frying Pan Fishing

Very nice house situated close to gold medal fishing. Lots of hiking opportunities with Basalt/Aspen close by. Very well maintained with all the amenities.

Will be back! Great host, the house has everything you need and even has a book with LOADS of information just in case you forget codes/ need help etc

A little piece of Heaven

Linda was the perfect host. The house was Prestine , had fresh flowers all over the house and the views are breathtaking. The best VRBO stay we’ve ever had. Thank you Linda. We will be back soon!!!

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Basalt. We were in love with it the moment we entered. It had great views, was extremely well appointed, and multiple options for outdoor seating. This luxury log cabin has been lovingly maintained and updated and does not disappoint. After hiking and fishing we enjoyed relaxing in the spacious and clean hot tub and grilling on the expansive porch. The only downside was that we only stayed 3 nights!! Can’t wait to return.
