One cottage away from waterfront with views of the lake and access to small private beach. Relax on the front porch and enjoy watching The Mount Washington boat travel by. Fireworks can also be seen from the porch, which are scheduled frequently throughout the summer. Walking distance from Weirs Beach boulevard with shops, restaurants, arcades, mini-golf. 13 Minute drive to Bank of NH Pavilion. https://www.banknhpavilion.com/ Take the scenic train to Meredith or the Mount Washington boat around the lake, both of which leave from the boulevard(3 min walk). Cottage has parking for 1 vehicle off street. 3/4 bathroom and full kitchen with plenty of cookware, plates, etc.

We enjoyed our stay! The location is beautiful! We stayed there late September, which was lovely. What an awesome spot to stay during the summer months I’m sure!

Great little cottage

This is a great little cottage with perfect access to all things Lake Winnipesaukee. It is a bit rustic which is fine if that's what you're seeking.

Very quiet but right near all of the action

We have stayed here three times and it is always great. Beds are comfortable, easy access to the lake to kayak and there is a full kitchen. It is in a quiet neighborhood but just a few minutes walk to the boardwalk. Highly recommend!

Stellar stay

The location was amazing! Supremely close to all of the Weir's attractions but extremely quiet and tranquil- it was the perfect combination.

Great location, comfortable house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rich's Weirs Beach cottage. The house is comfortable and very clean. Rich is a joy to work with, is wonderful at communication and makes the whole process seamless. The location is ideal - steps away from the beach, walking distance to town with lots to do. We would highly recommend this property and hope to rent from Rich again in the future!

Weird Beach Family Vaca

We come to the weirs every July for a family vacation- we needed an extra house this year as the group keeps growing, and this cottage worked out perfect for us! It was exactly as described, perfectly located, and host was responsive. The check in process was simple and easy. We had a great stay and will definitely be back!

Weirs Beach Family Vaca

We enjoyed our stay and had a great time. The house was very clean and walkable to the boardwalk and Weirs Beach. A smaller beach is steps away from the cottage which we also enjoyed. Neighbors were very friendly. The house is an older cottage style with bedrooms upstairs- one that you walk through to get to the second . it worked out for us and we would definitely stay again.

Excellent location, quaint cottage

I've stayed here multiple times, and it's always a great time. It's just a couple minutes walk to weirs and a couple minutes drive to some great attractions! The owner is kind and has a helpful but generally hands-off approach which is nice. The street is nice, the parking is tight but workable for my sedan. Overall very positive, and I'm sure I'll be back at some point

Great location but NOT kid friendly…

This property is in a perfect location. You are steps to swimming in the lake or walking on the strip in Weirs but the property is not family friendly. If it’s just a couple or a few adults, it would work fine. It’s nothing fancy and definitely old. The floors are uneven, there’s an exposed water heater, the stairs are narrow and steep, the railings are loose, and bannisters are too far apart. I would say not safe for kids under about 4 years old. The family lives all around so they are watching. We also were not able to fit a large SUV in the one parking space provided and had to park off the street. If you are looking for a quaint cozy cottage for a couples get away…this would work. We were able to make it one night and had to check out due to having young kids. Very unfortunate and lost a lot of money!

Great stay and right near the water!

This is the second year we have rented this property and it was again exceptional! Clean and right near the water so we could kayak every day but right next to the mail street. It is very quiet and has good wifi which was very important to our teen. It was 100 degrees most days and the air conditioner was great but the best part is the full kitchen. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay

My family and I where very happy with our stay at this cottage. The cottage was just what we needed for my husband and I with two young teens. It's very quaint with lots of nostalgia inside. Had a nice size bathroom with a stall shower. Two rooms upstairs with a/c. Main bedroom is accessed through first room. Kitchen and living space where comfortable with dining table for 4. My favorite spot was the front porch where you could watch the boats go by and read a book. The cottage is on a dead end street so it was typically very quiet. You are seconds from a private beach. It's small but just what we needed to take a swim or put in our kayaks and paddle board. We actually spent a lot of time there instead of the main beach. Met family in the area who introduced themselves and where all friendly. The boardwalk is in short walking distance with shops, restaurants, arcades, Weirs beach and The Mt. Washington cruise ship and Train ride. Lots to do. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this cottage and on this big beautiful lake.

Quiet street but near all of the action

This was a great rental! We saved a ton of money because there is a full kitchen. Quiet at night and right near the beach. It was clean, beds were comfortable and walking distance to many attractions. We kayaked every day and it was great to have the beach right there. WIFI was a plus for our teenager.

Great location

You can’t beat the location or the price! The kids loved that we were able to walk to the boardwalk to get ice cream every night! Overall a great vacation!

Great location

This house is very close to the center of Weirs Beach and everything in the center is walkable. The house was very clean, and everything provided for. We felt comfortable with the cleanliness even with the current pandemic. The houses are close together but the neighbors are all the owner’s family so they were kind and welcoming. We stayed during a heat wave and so the upstairs bedrooms were hot, even with the AC running, but since we only needed one bedroom we kept the back bedroom with the queen bed closed up to keep the front bedroom as cool as possible which helped a lot. the front bedroom with the AC has a full and twin bed in it, the queen bed is in the back room. The beach is small but great to run in and swim. There is no real place to lay out but we swam daily and during the week it was quiet - when we arrived it was the 4th of July weekend so it was a bit crowded as there were many people using the private beach, but the entire Weirs beach was busy. Overall great stay and would stay here again!

Great cottage near Weirs Beach boardwalk

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at this quaint cottage. It was decorated with weirs memorabilia and charming antique fixtures. It was very clean and provided all the basic amenities needed. The neighbors were friendly and it’s just a short walk to all Weirs attractions! I give It four stars instead of five only because the bed frame in the master bedroom was old and creaky. We really enjoyed this cottage and would stay again.

Excellent family spot near the beach and boardwalk

Our family of 6 really enjoyed our stay at Rich's cabin near the lake. Stepping into the house was like going back in time 40-50 years. The decor and atmosphere was quaint and cozy. There were plenty of spots to sleep and hang out. And the walk to the lake and boardwalk was short enough for even our 3 year old to handle. When we had trouble with the shower, Rich was responsive and took care of the issue ASAP. His family also has other cabins in the area, so when one of the kids locked us out of the house (oops), they were kind enough to get us back in quickly. We would absolutely return and recommend it to you as well!

I was surprised how quiet the area was. The house was clean and within walking distance from railroad, MS Washington, arcades, food and the water. Close to other attractions, as well. Rich and family were very helpful.

This was a great little cottage and a perfect location.

This cottage was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed for our week stay. It is close to the downtown area and the access to the little beach/swimming area was perfect. We had a great time staying here. We would definitely come back.

Another great vacation for us. The weather may not have been perfect all week but we didn't mind. we had plenty of dry space on the porch! This house is close to everything we love. Plenty of room and a beach! Watching the Mount go by daily from the porch is always a treat for us. Will stay again for sure!

We did not want to leave

This was the first time we have used Homeaway. Rich, the owner, was great! He explained what we needed to bring along and told us if we had any questions, that he had family around there. First let me say, The house was just perfect! The location as well as being supplied with everything we needed. It is spacious and that front porch was a place we spent most of our time on when we were "home". Watching the Mount come and go was my favorite part! We also met Rich's mom, Chris and his sister Amy as well as a few friends. They were so friendly, kind and welcoming. They are ready with suggestions for places to eat or places to visit. All in all, our visit was everything we were looking for. We wrapped up the week by watching the fireworks from the beach. what's better than that? I thank Rich for a very relaxing week. My only complaint is our time was too short. :)

Weirs beach vacation with 5 friends

I stayed at this cottage with 4 friends over 4th of July weekend and it was exactly what I thought it would be: charming, rustic, with beach access and in a great location right in the heart of Weirs by the boardwalk. The owner was responsive and great to work with. We knew exactly what to expect and even got a positive surprise with more bedding/towels/beach toys available for use than we thought. The experience was pretty perfect. The only criticism would be that the private beach area isn't as large as I thought it would be, but still plenty of room to lay out and once you're in the water, the lake is huge and obviously all yours!!! Would definitely recommend this property for someone looking for a charming cottage for a weekend getaway!

Cute, clean, and close to town

First time I've ever rented a cottage and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Less than a 5-minute walk to Weir's beach and the boardwalk. The house was clean and roomy enough for 4 people. Nice collection of kitchen items as well as beach toys and chairs. Kitchen could use a table or small island for food preparation as we had to keep moving things around while we were cooking. Beds were pretty comfortable and there was plenty of storage space. Enough room in the bathroom but it would have been nice if the door closed all the way. Never ran out of hot water for showers or dishes. Small front porch with a pretty nice grill and an okay view. Having a small accessible beach area 30 feet from the front door was great for those times when you just want a quick dip. Houses on this street are VERY close together which was fine for most of the trip but when someone came to stay in the house behind (with some of the most obnoxious kids I've ever seen), we had to go out to tell them to please keep it down because we were trying to sleep. Overall a really nice experience and I would recommend it for families with children older than 5 who don't need to take naps or go to bed early as the surrounding noise could be a problem.
