Cozy, Relaxing, Romantic, Fun All Sports Lake Cottage in Southwest Michigan

Fishlake is one of the best kept secrets between Chicago and Detroit. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the the city and unwind in this very quiet and comfortable lake Cottage. It's an all sports lake that has a ski course.(Rental Boats near by) Great fishing and great neighbors. The cottage has all you need to relax and have a good time. 2 Kayaks are available for use. The hot tub is great after a long day on the lake. You can't go wrong with this place. This is a 1 bed 1 bath that has high end finishes.Full Kitchen for as small as it is. This isn't the kind of rental that isn't completely stocked. The sofa in the TV room is a pull out bed that is brand new and actually very comfortable. This place can sleep 5 people comfortably. With an air mattress available if needed.
In the summer the sunsets are exactly center to the cottage. It's absolutely what you need after dealing with the the daily grind of the city. You can't go wrong with this place. It's just so magical and rejuvenating.

Fantastic place to stay for anyone wanting to relax on the water. Really nice house, great location on Fish Lake, great amenities. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

This was exactly what we were looking for in a little quiet 5 year anniversary get away. Beautiful lake nice, nice neighbors. Little fishing and relaxation, much needed recovery from the crazy every day work-life. Host was great to work with place was perfect!!

Our second visit there. The coziness and overall vibe is great!We enjoyed the hot tub and the vinyl collection and the big TV for March Madness. The view of the lake is beautiful!Probably looking to go back in the summer.

Absolutely amazing cabin on the lake. Fully stocked kitchen with a perfect deck, amazing hot tub and fire place. The perfect couples getaway weekend.

This place is great! We loved the vibes and decor this place had. From the great vinyl collection to the clean hot tub and kayaks to use, this place exceeded our expectations. Love the grateful dead and banksy decor as well as the peaceful location.

We loved the place! It had snowed and snowed while we were there. It was magical being in hot tub while it snowed. The turntable and vinyl collection was a hit with us. The host was so nice. We definitely want to make another visit.
Beautiful snow covered lake.

Tate was a great host. The place was clean, comfortable and quiet. Granted we were there in January, so not much action. We loved all the Dead posters and the record collection is crazy,

Absolutely 5 stars! Probably the most well appointed VRBO we've ever experienced. Everything exceeded expectations with the comfort of the bed and kitchen as standouts. Tate is an excellent host and was very responsive throughout our stay.

A wonderful relaxing cottage

This quiet little cottage was relaxing and had the best view! My husband and I enjoyed watching thd sunsets. The cottage was exactly how it was described in the listing. We loved being able to bring our dog with us. I will definitely be back!

Peaceful and qaint with beautiful views

The atmosphere was comfortable for our family of 3 and it was a bonus that we were able to bring our dog. The deck is a perfect place to sit and take in the lake views. The lake was clean and our son had a great time swimming. We enjoyed fishing and caught a fair share of bass and bluegill. The kayaks were a fun addition too.

This really is a slice of heaven on fish lake. This property is perfect for a couples getaway. My favorite part is the hot tub overlooking the lake view. This property is on a quiet street. It was awesome for walking our dog. The neighbors are friendly. It's just a short drive to Centreville or Sturgis for and needs. I would highly recommend staying here, and I hope to come back in the future.

Wow. Everything you need at your fingertips. This one bedroom is the perfect getaway spot. We loved the house, especially the stocked kitchen, the king bed, and of course the amazing outdoor setup. The hot tub, the lake, the view were spectacular. This house has it all. The owner is super friendly and answered all our questions right away.

We had such a nice, relaxing time. The home is beautiful & cozy. We LOVED the decor & listening to some amazing records. The outdoor space is just perfect, shady in the morning & the beautiful sunset right out the back over the lake in the evening. The hot tub was so relaxing at night. The lake was clear & warm to wade in. Next time we’ll have to look into rentals to get out on the water! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals while we were there. Tate’s response to a question was quick & helpful. Thank you for being dog-friendly, as well. Hoping we’ll be able to return in the future!

Everything about the house was well appointed and high end. From the light fixtures to the cookware, the bed and the quilts, we were really comfortable. Really appreciated the books, records and puzzles.

The house is beautiful, clean and cozy. We enjoyed the lake views from the back porch, relaxed in the hot tub, went swimming in the lake, kayaked and went on a few walks. We brought our dog and he also enjoyed the scenery with us. Tate was easy to communicate with and he was available for any questions we had. The kitchen had all the things we needed. Refrigerator, stove top, oven, microwave, keurig, plates, cups, utensils, dishwasher. On site washer and dryer, extra blankets and towels.

We loved everything about the property! We used the two kayaks and the hot tub. There were plenty of towels, and the bed was very comfortable. We communicated through the Vrbo app.

This property is excellent. It has everything you need (unlike many vacation rentals nowadays). We grilled burgers, played fetch with our dog in the lake, watched the sunset, made lamb ragu, watched the World Cup games, played Grateful Dead on the record player, had a fire, and used the hot tub. I don't think I've stayed anywhere as perfect as this spot!
