Relaxing Weekend Away

We stayed for 4 nights at the cottage for a relaxing family weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage was lovely, it had everything we needed and more, the location was beautiful, right on the lake, and the owner Chris was really nice, very easy to deal with. We will definitely be back!

Great Cottage close to all amenities

We had a great week at this cottage. Beautiful sunsets over Bobcaygeon, golf nearby, good selection of restaurants in Buckhorn (Chinese and pizza excellent), great swimming off the dock, not a fisherman but the ones going by said fishing was good, cottage stocked with all the essentials, good internet and satellite TV.

Peaceful getaway

It was wonderful to stay at a cottage that was clean well stocked and beautiful. All you need is fishing poles and groceries!

Such a wonderful place to stay. Communication with Chris was easy and fast. He was so great with our 2 kids during our stay there too. Definitely will be back!

Great experience and super friendly and helpful owner

The cottage is very well located for lake access and fishing.Great pickerel fishing just from the dock.You are on the water in a boat house!

Loved this waterfront property

We had a great week in this beautiful waterfront cottage. The owner Chris was so awesome to deal with. He was very helpful and went above and beyond when he helped my husband launch his boat.

Excellent stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. You can't get any closer to the water, and the sunsets were spectacular. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the boats go by, as well as the loons. The cottage itself was equipped with everything you would need. And Chris, the owner, was very pleasant to deal with. When I told him my husband had some mobility issues, he built an extension to the railing, to make it easier for him to use the stairs. Would recommend this cottage for sure.

Relaxing time

Easy to check in & out. Beautiful sunsets. The deck on the water was our best part of the little holiday. Neat and tidy but in my opinion it wasn't "luxury". But that's me. No place to keep our boat, because of unfortunate weather damage, which we were told the morning before arriving. Nice getaway though.

Thanks Angela for you kind words. As I stated on the phone I would have made room for your boat on my boat lift and dock had you told me you were bringing a boat. I didn't think the boat lift was an issue as I had no idea you had a boat. I'm glad you had a nice time.

Stunning sunsets

We had a wonderful stay with the place have everything you need for your stay it was very clean great fishing amazing sunsets we enjoyed our lunches and dinners on the deck which is right on the water Chris was very informative to what we needed and was there to answer any questions we had we definitely enjoyed our stay

Great view of the lake

Sitting along the water watching all the boats go by, was a great place to have drinks and catch up with old friends. Place is as described. The owner was very easy to communicate with. Had a great weekend. Thanks.

Wonderful cottage getaway

Our family of six adults had a wonderful long weekend at the cottage. The cottage is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. The deck is right by the water. Overall a beautiful cottage property. Chris was a great host and welcomed us upon our arrival.

Wonderful time

My family had a great time. My teenage boys spent a lot of time fishing off the doc and with the peddle boat. We also went on a few hikes using the trails behind the cottage and plan to go on the trails on the island next time we're there.

Great stay

The cottage is lovely--very clean and well-equipped. It's right on the water like in the picture. Beds were comfortable. Linen and towels were great. Chris gave us a very helpful tour upon arrival.

Beautiful spot right on the water

Our family spent a week at this beautiful spot. Chris was an excellent host and responsive to all questions and was there to meet us when we arrived. The property was right on the water and enjoys some of the best sunsets we have ever seen. The property itself is well cared for and being right on the water made it easy for the kids to swim every day. We loved the space and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away.

Peace and tranquility

As an adult family we really enjoyed this cottage. Just to be on the deck right on the water having morning coffee was so lovely. We didn’t have a boat or fish but it is ideal for that.

Great get away for Canada Day

Chris is a great host. Nice property, clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Great water access and not to far a drive from the GTA. We really enjoyed our Canada Day get away.

Sparkling Clean

Place was just as described. The boathouse was sparkling clean and had everything that we needed. We stayed for 6 nights. Chris was very easy to contact and was always available for questions. We had a wonderful time. Oh and yes.. place has the best sunset views!
