This most unique rental in the UP! “If These Walls Could Talk!! Built in 1886, the building is an old bar on famous Silver Street, 1 block from trail access for snowmobiles and UTV's. Walking distance to bars, restaurants & shopping. 1mi to Dispensaries.
Perfect for snowmobile and ski groups, families & friends.
You will have access to the entire building including both rental units and access to the bar/speakeasy lounge.
The space
“Speakeasy Lounge" is a new rental that has been completely updated. It includes access to the entire building featuring both rental units (Capone's Hideout and Lover's Lounge) and access to your own Speakeasy Bar area. Note: you will ONLY have access to the bar space if you book THIS listing.
Your space includes:
-7 bedrooms (6 queen size beds, 2 pull out sofas, and bunk bed)
-2 full bathrooms
-2 half bathrooms
-2 kitchens
-3 living room spaces
-Bar area
-Laundry areas
-Fenced outdoor area
Take note that this is multi level unit so stairs are involved to access upstairs bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchenettes.
THE ULTIMATE MAN CAVE, "906 Lounge," is a Prohibition themed Speakeasy Bar. It features the original tin on the walls and ceiling, leather lounge booths, bar area, projector and speaker system, 2 large Roku televisions, piano, dart board, putter ball, blackjack table, and roulette/poker table. There is also a refrigerator. This space is accessed though a special Speakeasy door you must find to enter!
"Capone's Hideout", the backside unit, features 5 bedrooms, 4 upstairs and 1 downstairs. Four bedrooms have queen beds, and the fifth is a walk through attached to another bedroom that has a pull-out sofa and fireplace. There is also a small bonus room off of one of the bedrooms that has a bunk bed. There is a full bathroom upstairs, as well as a unique retro kitchenette in this unit. The main level features a whisky barrel dining area, living space with a 70” Roku tv, fireplace, pullout sofa, and gaming area with roulette table and dart board. There is an additional full kitchen on the main level. It has fridge/freezer, gas range, microwave, small appliances, cooking and eating utensils and is completely functional! Pizza Oven and Deep Fryer are not available for guest use.
The frontside unit, "Lovers Lounge", features 2 bedrooms, each with queen size beds. There is an additional full bathroom in this unit that has a shower, clawfoot tub, and bidet. The living area in this space has a fireplace, 55" Roku tv, and massage table.
There are a total of 8 flat screen Roku TV's that allow you to stream your favorite apps.
Each unit has a Coffee Bar with coffee and filters provided. The kitchens have dishes, cookware, and cleaning supplies. The bathrooms are supplied with toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash.
Towels will be supplied for the number of guests listing is reserved for. You will need to bring bedding if you plan to utilize the pull-out sofas or bunk beds.
Guest access
When booking this listing, you will have access to the entire property (besides the basement). This allows you access to the bar, 3 living room spaces, 7 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 2 half baths, 2 kitchens, 2 coffee bars, and fenced in yard area with tables and outside games.
Other things to note
This property is located on Silver Street in Ironwood, Michigan. It is walking distance to the upper and lower block bars and restaurants. It has easy trail access 1 block away for snowmobile and UTV riding.
Please note: due to the extreme amounts of snow Ironwood receives, you may have to shovel your entry doorways. The property will be plowed as needed. Parking is limited along Hemlock, and we ask for guests to ride together when possible. Do not park on the opposite side of Hemlock Street. During the winter months, you also cannot park on Silver Street. There is ample parking for 4 vehicles, or 2 vehicles/2 trailers.
Towels will be supplied for the number of guests listing is reserved for. You will need to bring bedding if you plan to utilize the pull-out sofas or bunk beds. *PLEASE NOTE AND ACKNOWLEDGE ALL RULES BEFORE BOOKING*
All smoking/outdoor conversations in backyard only
No extra guests allowed beyond the booking requested. Fee will be assessed for unauthorized guests.
