This Boulder Creek home is perfect! So big, comfortable and easy to relax in. My friends and I came for a wedding so we weren't able to enjoy the home as much as we liked. I hope to stay again and truly relax there. Beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you Alex for sharing this home!

We were pleasantly surprised on how beautiful this home is and the unique characteristics it portrays. My family and I were extremely comfortable with the three master suites, large living room and dining area. There was a lot more spaces to also occupy. My adult children enjoyed the swimming pool, playing games and just enjoying each other’s company and the peace and quiet with beautiful redwoods that surround the house. I highly recommend this vacation home for your future trips.

We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday weekend celebrating my husband’s birthday. The house is cozy yet spacious, with several indoor and outdoor spaces to gather and spend time together. This is truly the perfect Santa Cruz mountain getaway! The home is beautiful and incredibly spacious. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the beds were all very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, letting us check in early and allowing us to have a leisurely check out as well. We booked this for our wedding weekend and the hosts even allowed my large bridal party get our hair/make up done here the morning of our wedding! We cannot recommend this home enough! We hope to come back for years to come :)

Beautiful home to match the environment and hosts! They exceeded our expectations every step of the way and even provided us with solid recommendations for lesser known hiking trails in the area…they did not disappoint. It rained a bit on our last night and they offered to dry any clothes that may have gotten wet. So thoughtful! Kids loved the pool and it was very clean along with the rest of the exterior living area. If you are looking for a tranquil and luxurious property surrounded by redwoods in the Santa Cruz area, look no further.

The home was spacious and comfortable. Very clean. Pictures didn't do it justice . Hosts were gracious and responsive. Boulder Creek is resplendent with nature's beauty and the home is reflective of it.

The house is amazing! The deck in the evenings under the redwoods was just what we needed. The kitchen is well equipped, the rooms are nice and big and each has its own bathroom.. major bonus! It was very clean and we loved the living room conversation area by the fire. I arrived before my family and was greeted by Alex and Nuby which I thought was a nice touch! We will definitely be back!

Alex and Nuby were great hosts and gave us great recommendations for food. House was super clean and everything was great. We appreciated the electric kettle- so convenient. We loved the fireplace. We had a lot of space for our party of 5. WiFi worked great for our son’s homework. Altogether we had a wonderful stay.

What a wonderful experience! Alex and Nuby were such a amazing and generous hosts. Everything was very clean and organized and the beds were so incredibly comfortable! Sitting around the fireplace in that great living room was such a perfect way to end the day. We were able to get to Santa Cruz easily and being in the redwoods was so nice. Great experience! Thank you, Alex and Nuby!

What a wonderful home and relaxing way to spend New Years Eve. Beautiful, spacious home, Large comfortable rooms each with their own shower. Close to area restaurants and attractions. Alex and Nuby welcomed us into their home and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. I’m glad we found this gem.

Wonderful stay

Alex was a great host and the house was beautiful. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub and the area around the house. The beds were amazing too. If we come back to the area we will definitely want to stay here again.

Mountain Getaway

Lovely place with everything we needed nestled in the redwoods of Big Basin. Close to all the coastal things we needed too. Wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to help us with our needs for the Sea Otter Classic.

Beautiful property in the redwoods

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay - the photos don't even do it justice. Our family of 4 loved swimming in the pool under the redwoods, reading on the deck, playing board games in the great room in the evenings, cooking in the lovely and spacious kitchen, and enjoying redwood hikes. The hosts were gracious and super helpful! thank you - we'd love to come back and visit again!
