We travel a lot using vrbo . This was by far the best ! Had EVERYTHING We needed. All cabinets were labeled. The house itself was beautiful and cozy and plenty of room.

It was a great stay and we had our 2 grandchildren with us. The garage was an added bonus so that we could unpack the car slowly. The place was clean and cozy.Only suggestion is if there was a hand held mixer to make cupcakes and also a cork screw opener. The pillows were extra comfortable. Oh, I did a load of towels and left them folded on the washer and dryer. Thanks for everything

Very clean cabin and property. Host answered my questions. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Go to the Old Stone House Museum. It was very interesting.

The house was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were very nice. Showers worked well. Property was well maintained all the little actors like soccer dad basketball hoop and cornhole was extra and fun. No complaints at all. Thank you so much.

This was a really amazing property! Very private yet not far from Newport to enjoy the lake or to get provisions. The house was super clean and looks just like the pictures. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay

We wanted to escape the city for a week and we did just that. The goal and basketball hoop were great for the kids. We say fireflies at night. Beautiful rivers nearby and Mark was available for kid friendly hiking recs. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. Cabin was clean and linen was fresh. Beds felt really good. And the jacuzzi was so refreshing. We spent 3 days fishing the wonderful lakes in Northern Vermont and 4 relaxing nights in the cabin. Mark and his wife are wonderful hosts.I think their rates were very reasonable compared to others in the area.

Although just one night, we made the most of it with short walks, fire circle with Smores and comfortable beds. Host was very responsive and accommodated last minute requests! Hope to be back!

Comfortably Off Grid

We stayed with another couple and our dogs. Everything was well kept and ready for us when we arrived. Spacious cabin, great yard, no traffic so the dogs could safely run around outside. Short drive to gorgeous lake Willoughby. Host was quick to respond to messages. Everything as advertised or better.

Mark presented a very nice property that was exactly as described in his property description, The home was well appointed, Very clean and in an excellent location to access the VT VAST trails via a private feeder trail. Everything you need in the kitchen along with a nice grill. This property was perfect for snowshoeing as well as perfect for accessing other locations to have a dinner out. We go nowhere without our 2 VERY well behaved labradors and Mark was terrific about allowing us to bring them. He was a great host; very quick to answer our simple questions Excellent stay! Five stars!

Quiet hideaway

Great spot to escape light and noise pollution. Clean, spacious, great outdoor firepit - perfect for a group that wants to enjoy each others company. I especially loved that we had the tools needed to cook large meals! We didn't have great weather, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the area. The blueberry picking, provided s'more ingredients and maple gifts were an added bonus :) Also, I could bring our pup which is always so appreciated.

Great experience!

We had a wonderful stay! We really appreciated the complimentary food items that were left for us, including coffee, maple syrup, and smores ingredients. It made us feel welcomed and right at home. The accommodations were spacious and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We took advantage of the campfire outside and enjoyed making smores under the stars. There were also games provided and a smart tv that kept us entertained during our stay. Despite the secluded location, we were only a short 30-minute drive away from our destinations. Even though there was no internet service, the wifi connection was reliable enough for us to stay connected when needed. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, nature-filled getaway.
